It's raining.

Zayn's standing in front of the huge window in his office and he's staring at nothing in particular.
The clattering of the water hitting the casement is somehow soothing, keeping him distracted from all the things he should be doing for his Company and the set everyday tasks his secretary gives him, just to keep him on track.
He doesn't really care, though, not when he feels pressured from his family —and friends, really— about finding someone to spend his days —or life— with. Not that he's against it or anything, but he doesn't have the patient or the time to actually date. Or go out, in general.
That's why he always relies on apps on his phone. It'a usually Tinder, but lately he finds himself scanning through other places.

Sure, those other websites are not for hookups or similar, but it's good enough.
It helps with his desire to take care of someone. To spoil them rotten with gifts, trips and anything really.
He thinks it's easier, mostly because both parts knows what they're getting into, there's an agreement. And it's beneficial for everyone.
It doesn't always involve sex, not for Zayn, at least, but that can happen. He's not completely against it, but he knows the app he roams around lately is not for that. At all.

He still remembers the day Harry told him about it and how he had found the perfect match for him. He also remembers being curious about it, wanting to explore and experience that. And that's why he signed up in the first place.
Because he was and still is curious and wants to sooth his needs and desires.
He hopes he'll find someone. Even if just for a few no-string-attached dates.
