Author's POV

Finally. After two weeks of troublesome bullshit, I can finally go to this school. Advanced Nurturing High School, or in some cases, Kōdo Ikusei Kōtō Gakkō. Who knew learning Japanese for three years was chaotic and fun.

Anyways. For starter, My name is (insert Author's name). And obviously, I'm not from Japan. I'm from another country which is in Southeast Asia. Try guessing.
My hair is black. My eyes color is brown. I'm just your average person. My height? I can't remember. Last time I check, I was 5'5 or 168cm to be specific. And that was 2 years ago. My weight is 46.6 kg. I'm nearsighted so I need my glasses. I'm something of a YouTuber myself.

Why am I saying this? Because someone is going to read this book at any time and they need some knowledge for their author.

Back to the story. I heard this school is awesome. So here I am, riding on a bus sitting beside a brown hair boy.

Quite a peaceful day we're having today.

"Excuse me, but shouldn't you offer your seat?"

I just jinxed myself, didn't I?

"Hey, you there. Can't you see that this elderly woman is having trouble?" the office lady said.

I missed the part where that's my problem. Is what I wanted to say if she was talking to me. Turns out, she was talking to a young, well-built blonde man of high school age.

Apparently, one of the old lady is having trouble standing. But I can't guess which one is it. If I have to guess, I think it's the older one.

"That's a really crazy question, lady" the boy said.

According to my instinct, I should not talk to this person.

"Why should I offer up my seat? There's no reason for me to do so." the boy continued.

Turns out, my instinct was correct.

“You’re sitting in a priority seat. It’s natural to offer up those seats to
the elderly.”

“I don’t understand. Priority seats are just that: priority seats. I have no
legal obligation to move. Since I’m currently occupying this seat, I should be
the one who determines whether or not I move. Am I supposed to give up my
seat just because I’m young? Ha! That reasoning is nonsense.”

He's out of line but he's right.

“I’m a healthy young person who certainly wouldn’t find standing
inconvenient. However, I’d obviously expend more energy by standing than I
would by sitting. I have no intention of doing such a pointless thing. Or are
you suggesting I should act a bit livelier, I wonder?”

“Wh-what kind of attitude is that to take with your superiors?” she
demanded.

Wasn't it supposed to be "talk"? Old lady grab yourself some grammar book, will you?

“Superiors? Well, it’s obvious that both you and the old woman there
been alive longer than I have. There can be no doubt about that. However, the
word ‘superior’ implies that you’re referring to someone of a higher position.
In addition, we have another problem. Even though our ages are different,
wouldn’t you agree that you have an impertinent attitude and are being
extremely rude?”

He's speaking like we're nothing but ants. Well I'm sorry, Perfect-kun, but you're not Masayuki Suzuki.

“Wha— You’re a high schooler, aren’t you?! You should be quiet and
listen to what adults tell you!”

“It’s f-fine, whatever…” the elderly woman mumbled.

She apparently didn’t want any further commotion and tried to calm
the office lady. But after being insulted by the high school student, the
younger woman still seemed very upset.
