Childe's Latern Rite Date

Chapter 2: The Date

Zhongli just finished and was coming out of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. It was dark outside and the lanterns outside where lit and nice but to his surprise Childe was outside standing with flowers waiting for him.
Childe: Hey there, Xiansheng, are you ready, I got you some flowers.
Zhongli: Why thank you Childe, I really appreciate your kind offering.
Zhongli went back inside to put the flowers down so he could pick them up later. He comes back out.
Zhongli: I'm ready now Childe.
Childe: Wonderful.
Childe and Zhongli went out around Liyue and did most of the attractions and went out for some food:
Childe: Oh Wow!, this barbecue beef and veggies are good, are you enjoying your food Xiansheng.
Zhongli: Why yes Childe, this read is good as well.
After they finished, Childe payed for the foods and drinks and then they both went out. They met other people around the Lantern Rite as well like Hu Tao, Yanfei, Ganyu, Baizhu, Qiqi, and even Shenhe. They kept walking around until they went up to the Harbor and saw the lights.
Zhongli: Well, this is wonderful and beautiful Ajax
Childe blushes.
"Thanks, I really hoped you enjoyed this", he said
Zhongli: I did enjoy this very much.
Childe: That's great.
Childe was nervous and really wanted to ask Zhongli another question. He grabbed his hand and raised it up a bit and and asked Zhongli the big question he had been holding for so long.
Childe: Xiansheng, I liked you for a while now and I think your hit and now I am wondering, would you please be my boyfriend?
At that moment, Zhongli pulled in Childe for a passionate kiss. It was warm and nice but then Zhongli let go and spoke.
Zhongli: You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to ask me that.
Childe: "So you were waiting for me to make the first move when you could have asked me the whole time.", he says angrily.
Zhongli: Yes, I thought it would be nice and cute.
"Well okay then," Childe said.
They stayed there with the crowd watching the lanterns and fireworks for a while until-
Chide yawns.
Childe: Well, it seems like our day is coming to end and we have to say our goodbyes.
Zhongli: No please, come over to my place you can stay there for the night after all you have done for me.
Childe: Really, oh thank you Xiansheng.
As the Lantern Rite was finishing, Zhongli took Childe to his house where for Childe, his night would only have begun.
