The boys

After calming down, me and Alex sat down in two of the seats in the big SUV.

There were three rows of seats. The driver and passenger, three in the middle, and three in the back. The three in the middle had been rotated so they were facing the back three. Me and Alex had taken the two seats closest to the door in the last row.

Every seat in the car was filled except for the passenger seat next to the driver. Though the light was dim, looking around I could see I was the only girl.

"Wh-who are y-you guys?" I stammered.

The boy sitting across from me, and presumably the oldest, besides te driver of course, held out his hand while telling me his name was JD. Next to him, the boy raised his hand in a sort of half assed wave. He smiled so only the left side of his mouth was open.

"Names' RJ." He chuckled.

JD rolled his eyes.

"You sound like a dumbass" he said looking at RJ.

The boy in the seat to the far left snickered.

"Yeah RJ. You sound like a dumbass" he said mocking JD.

JD sent him an angry look and reminded him to introduce himself.

"Oh. My name is Jayce." He said after flicking his head to get his black hair out of his face. And when I say black, I mean BLACK. Darker than midnight. Than coal, charcoal, or cobalt.

Yeah. That dark.

"And you?" I asked looking at the kid on the other side of Alex.

He leaned forward to get a better look at me.

"Call me Randy" he said smiling. He had by far the lightest hair so far, even so, it was still a darker shade of brown. His kindness seemed genuine, not forced.

JD yelled to the front "Hey Jared, how long we got?"

The man answered "ahh.. About twenty."

"Thanks man."

He turned back to me and my brother.

"Alex already knows, but we need to inform you of where we are going. These people back here are most of the people you are going to see most often.
This is majority of our division. There are a few others."

"Are there any other girls?" I asked.

"No. All guys ex-"

Jayce piped in. "We will be getting another girl soon J."

"You mean we might?" JD said looking at him, his eyebrow raised.

Jayce just huffed and sat back in his seat, staring out the window.

"ANYWAY, we are going back to our house, we will get you your own room on our floor. But if the other girl comes you might have to share it. We are hoping she comes. She isn't in the best situation either, but she lives so close she couldn't stay with us full time... So it will be yours most da-"

"Wait. One question... What are you guys? And foster house? Orphanage? Organization of some sorts? You have to tell me. I'm not staying where I don't know what's going on." I said firmly.

"Well, as to who... Or what we are. No, no, and I guess you could say... Jayce could you help me with this?"

"A gang. We are a mother fucking gang." Jayce said bluntly "We are all fcked up kids needing places to go. I don't see why it's so hard to tell. Christ all mighty"

"Basically"

"That sums it up."

"Couldn't have said it better myself."

The other three boys in the back added.

I was beyond shocked. A gang? What had Alex been thinking?

Just then we pulled up to a large house. All of the lights were off.

"We'll continue this conversation tomorrow morning when you wake, okay?" JD said as soon as I was out of the car.

He showed me to my room. As soon as he left, I fell into the covers and went into a sleep of the dead.

************************************

Hello lovelies. I hope this is going good. Sorry it took me while. But I might pause this one and start Randy's because his is really short. Sorry I'm tired so I sound weird. It's like five in the morning here XD. Stay amazing night <3.
