From Crushed To Crushing...

"Man, no matter how many times we come here, the crowd still amazes me." Hakkai Shiba said fondly.

"Well whaddya expect?" Takashi Mitsuya replied with a grin, "It's practically a tradition for everyone to be here during New Years. If you're not here, then you're square." He joked.

"Heh, I guess you're right about that Taka." Hakkai agreed.

The two friends, and Toman captains, were currently at the shrine, a place that most residents always visited every evening of December 31st to celebrate New Years.

The two were also accompanied by Mitsuya's younger sisters, Luna and Mana.

"Big bro Mitsuya, can we buy any toys?" Luna, the elder of his younger sisters, asked him.

"Toys!" Mana simple repeated in agreement.

Mitsuya chuckled and patted his sister's heads.

"Well, if we manage to find any then sure! I'll buy you guys one." He assured them.

They cheered and hugged him, making him laugh.

'Taka is such a cool big bro.' Hakkai thought as he watched them with a fond smile.

He noticed that Mitsuya was looking around the place.

"You looking for something Taka?" Hakkai asked curiously.

"Well, Mikey told me that he and Draken would be here." Mitsuya revealed, "I wonder if they're around here somewhere...."

"Yo, you guys!" A voice called out.

The two friends looked behind them to find the source.

The voice belonged to none other than Mikey himself, Toman's commander.

He waved at them as he walked towards them, Draken, the vice captain, walking right beside him.

"Sorry if we took a bit long." Draken apologized. "Mikey saw a dorayaki stand earlier and was practically dying to buy some."

"Heyyy. I was hungry." Mikey said with a pout.

Draken scoffed, "Yeah and when are you not?" He replied irritatedly.

"Oh no, it's fine guys. What matters is that you're here now." Mitsuya assured them.

"Don't forget about us!" Another voice called.

It was Chifuyu Matsuno, the vice-captain of Toman's first division.

He had come along with some other major Toman members.

Namely Smiley, Angry, Mucho and  Peh.

"You guys made it!" Mikey said happily.

"There's no way we'd miss this!" Smiley said with his usual grin.

"I see you brought your siblings too Mitsuya." Angry commented, "Where's your sister though, Hakkai?" He asked him.

"*Sigh* Well I thought that the two of us would've come together, but she totally bailed on me!" He revealed exasperatedly, "Tsk, apparently she had a date that she wanted to go with rather than come with me..." He said with a bit of pettiness, crossing his arms.

"Ah don't worry about it man." Mitsuya patted him on the back, "I'm sure we'll even meet up with her soon." He comforted with a grin.

"Speaking of siblings..." Peh started, "Wasn't Emma supposed to be with you, Mikey?" He asked his commander.

"She wanted to come along with Hina." He revealed, "So she stayed behind and waited for her to get ready."

"Oh yeah, Hinata..." Chifuyu said, kind of dragging it at the end.
