TakeYuzu: Christmas Comfort

The Next Step...

June 25th, 2006...
9:00PM...

A certain blonde teen was lying in his bed, thinking over some things in his mind.

It's been over 4 months since Toman's battle with Tenjiku.

4 months since the conflict that lead to Emma being killed, Izana's death... And his final battle with Kisaki that ended with the latter being killed by a speeding truck.

Even though it was 4 months ago, the events that transpired still replay in his mind sometimes.

It had also been 4 months since Mikey had disbanded Toman.

The news came as a great shock to everyone involved in Toman, but it was understandable why he did it, considering how he was still suffering from losing people important to him.

It was tough to see Toman disband after everything he had gone through with them, but he accepted it, along with everybody else.

Although, a part of him was glad he was finally done with Toman business, because it meant he finally got to spend most of his time with his lovely girlfriend...

Yuzuha...

A smile came to his face as he thought about her.

Right after their kiss at New Years, the two wasted no time in starting a relationship, and he had no regrets about it.

They had their first date right after that day, and it went as smooth as you could imagine.

They surprisingly complimented each other very well, and their chemistry just grew stronger the more times they went out.

He remembered how his friends at Toman congratulated them when they revealed that they were dating, and he laughed as he remembered Hakkai's face when he comically fainted after hearing about it.

After the whole Tenjiku situation, he remembered how she had comforted him and stayed by his side, making sure he was okay throughout all his time moving on from the situation.

She was the only reason why he hadn't immediately time-leaped back to the present, because he wasn't ready to leave her. He wanted to be with her for a lot longer.

Though their relationship was going well, there was one thing he hasn't done that kind of bothered him.

Neither of them has really told one another, "I love you." Yet...

He was gonna make sure to change that the next time he saw her.

His mind then thought back to what had transpired today, and he smiled fondly.

Today was the teenager's 15th birthday, and all his friends at Toman had thrown a surprise party for him.

He remembered how Chifuyu had blindfolded him and taken him to Toman's old meeting place without his knowledge.

And when they got there, the shock that he felt when everyone had shouted, "SURPRISE!" as he lifted his blindfold was immense.

Draken, Mitsuya, The Kawata Twins, Hakkai, Peh, and even Hina and Yuzuha were all there. His friends from the Mizo Mid Five had also made it.
