Mine- Yours and Only Yours

Depressed

It's been a week since Ohm met Nanon. Due to Covid 19 protocols, most of their events got cancelled. Lack of work and loneliness was driving Ohm crazy. He started drinking a couple of drinks to get some sleep but gradually he began to drown himself in alcohol. His family began to worry about him as he was not eating or sleeping properly. He did not even go to gym which was always his first priority. He sat in his room looking outside with a blank expression on his face.

Ohm's brother finally decided to call his brother's friends to help him out. He tried calling Nanon but he did not answer his calls. So he tried Chimon. Chimon promised to come over as soon as possible.

Chimon soon reaches Ohm's house. Ohm's brother explains to Chimon about his brother's condition. Chimon assures him that he will talk to Ohm.

Chimon enters Ohm's room and was surprised to find Ohm sitting on a chair looking at the wall. He seem to be lost in his thoughts. Chimon tried calling him.

Chimon: Ohm

No response.

Chimon; Ohm

Still no response.

Chimon looks around to see what Ohm was staring at. He saw a framed photo of Ohm and Nanon on the wall. Chimon was puzzled by Ohm's behavior but he wanted to try something.

Chimon: Nanon..

A single tear escaped Ohm's eyes on hearing Nanon's name but he still did not say anything or look at Chimon. Chimon was stunned on seeing Ohm's reaction.

Chimon: SHIT

He knew he needed to get Nanon before things go out of hand. Chimon tried calling Nanon but he didn't pick the call.

Chimon: Hang in there Ohm. I will come with your Nanon.

He rushed out to talk to Nanon face to face.

At Nanon's condo:

Chimon rang the bell and waited for Nanon to open the door. He opened the door after third ring

Nanon: Hey Chim. Why are you ringing the bell so impatiently?

Chimon gets into the house pulling Nanon with him.

Chimon: Sit

Nanon: What's wrong Chim? Why do you look so serious?

Chimon: What is going on between you and Ohm?

Nanon: Nothing. I haven't spoken to him in a week.

Chimon: Why? Why haven't you spoken to him in a week? Did you guys fight over something?

Nanon: No. I spoke to him the day when his pics with his girlfriend was leaked. I just congratulated him and asked him to keep things low key so it doesn't impact our work.

Chimon: Shit...Did he say he has a girlfriend?

Nanon: No. But he didn't deny it when I asked him.

Chimon: Did you even give him a chance to speak? You know you get carried away easily and hardly listen to the other person.

Nanon: I...I

Chimon: So you didn't let him talk.

Nanon nods his head in confirmation.

Chimon: What exactly did you say Nanon?

Nanon told Chimon about the entire conversation he had with Ohm.

Chimon: SHIT.SHIT...SHIT. You sounded like you wanted to get rid of him once the promotional events are over. Anyone hearing your words will feel like everything you did with Ohm was just fan service. I wouldn't blame Ohm, if a straight forward guy like him thought the same. He must have felt so lonely. When  will you learn that communication is a two way street Nanon.

Nanon: I am sorry Chim. I will fix everything. I will talk to Ohm.

Chimon: I don't..

Chimon's phone starts ringing suddenly. He quickly picks up the call as it was from Ohm's brother. He puts the call on speaker so that Nanon can listen to their conversation.

Chimon: Hello Nong

Ohm's brother: PChim, POhm is not in his room.

Chimon: WHAT?

Nanon's eyes go wide in shock.

Ohm's brother: I went out to get some groceries after you left. Mom told me POhm came down to meet  her. He hugged her and cried alot. He then smiled at her and said everything will be alright. He hugged her once again and went back to his room. When I came back and went check on him, he was not there.

Chimon: He would have gone outside nong to get some fresh air.

Ohm's brother: He left a letter PChim.

Chimon: What did he write in the letter?

Ohm's brother: He said he is going through some emotional issues and he needs to go away for a few days. He asked us not to look for him.

Chimon: Hmm

Ohm's brother: Few of his clothes, his wallet and a pic of him and PNon is missing. He left behind everything else including his car and phone. I don't know where to look for him. Please help me PChim.

Chimon: Don't worry Nong. We will find him.

Chimon disconnects the call and looks at Nanon. He was sitting before him with tears running down his cheeks.

Chimon: Non

Nanon: I broke him. He was not effected by the lockdown, disease or any other things. He was a simple person who found happiness in small things. But I manage to break him with my cruel words. How can I be his soulmate if I am reason why his soul got torn to bits and pieces.

Chimon: Non..stop blaming yourself. He hates it when you get stressed or cry.

Nanon: Why would he care after what I did to him?

Chimon: Non, he cares for you. Your memories with him is the only thing he carried with him when he left home. Even if he is hurting, he doesn't want you in pain. He will understand you Non.

Nanon: But he's left me behind Chim.

Chimon: We will find him. We will never let him go Non.

Nanon nods his head unable to say anything.
