The evening has proven to be gloomy as the dense grey clouds lingered over the little town area of Haven Bay. This didn't seem to bother Adhira as she continued to burn her tongue in pain and pleasure, on a mug of coco-chocolate tea.

She had once again slipped from home to enjoy the new book she had stolen from her sister's drawer, untamed was her curiosity to explore all things forbidden.

After all, she was the baby of the family, her parents echoed countless times that she was too young to be indulging in such lewd messages

likkle Pitney like you must know dem book size.

She wasn't deterred by their never-ending reminders, firmly believing that age didn't matter when it came to reading, after all, how then would she know how to navigate society without being completely naive?

The thought remains ironic as she was often too wrapped up in her fantastical world, to incorporate people of reality into her own space. They simply were not able to be controlled and molded into the characters she wanted, they remained complex and hard to bend in her opinion.

Friendless wasn't the word you'd use to describe her but in the eyes of her peers, her circle was too small compared to theirs, either she was ridiculed or seen as simply too mature for their simplistic minds. too dark and book lovin' fhi whi taste.

Nothing, in reality, stood out to her, except for nature. Each phenomenon played a huge role in the fantastical worlds she often created, coordinating the exact shades and blends bringing to life her wildest imaginations.

"Cracker, Cebert want to close up now" came the warm voice of Ojal, the short stucky Indian lady whose husband owned the vintage cafe.

Drawn from the rather steamy novel, Adhira cast a glance at the old lady throwing her a broad smile which soon turned into confusion, such actions evident in the scrunching of her bushy eyebrows, pondering the reasoning for such an unusual lock-up.

As if reading her mind "There's a scheduled thunderstorm mhi love you cya be too careful, better safe than sorry" the old woman
informed. Something remained amiss in her jade-like irises as she glanced outside the aged windows.

It wasn't a surprise for bad weather to occur in the bay area, after all the place was prone to rainfall but the purple illuminated clouds that hovered the town looked otherworldly.

Sadden by the turn of events, Adhira leisurely gathered her belongings. She started her journey home barely giving any thought to the weather, floating in her head she hummed an old tune and slapped her slippers against the tarred ground.

She hadn't been too far from home if you considered two avenues and a half close before the first drop of rain bounced off her red plastic slippers a now constant pattern as it pattered on the thin material of her shirt.

lawd gee, not even proper shoes came her thought

Her athletic abilities weren't forgotten as she decided to sprint the rest of the journey home, she contemplated while running if she should be obedient and stick to the longer route along the main road or cut through the second avenue.

Her time for decision had halted, frozen in place after hearing the unmistakable screeching of a vehicle drawing closer to her, its tires worked with plenty of effort to find a grip on the now slippery road.

She was too frightened to move or see what was going on after being momentarily blinded by the headlights of the oncoming vehicle. Only the crash of the vehicle nudged her out of stupefaction and into pain.

"ahhhh" came the young girl's screams. The sound of cracking bones resounding over the collision left no time for processing before a guttural flash of lightning came, striking the already injured girl square in the middle of her chest.

For a moment there was a stunned silence, the girl without having much of a choice slipped in and out of darkness, glimpses of violet and white rays came across her vision before she succumbed to peaceful darkness.

Unknowing the future she has yet to fulfill.
