To say Lan Wangji was pissed is a big understatement. He was more than pissed, he was mad, mad at whoever made this forest not let one go before they had made up with someone they fought with. And hell, he would never make up with Wei Wuxian, he'd rather die than making up with that guy. Seeing it was only option beside dying from whatever this forest contains, he went back to the lake and as expected, that Wei Wuxian was still there, only that instead of sitting on the side, he was standing in the shallower parts of the lake, picking flowers from the surface, which was littered with lotuses.
Lan Wangji hid himself behind a tree, watching the young man picking flowers and closely examine the good exemplars before picking them.
The boy didn't notice Lan Wangji until he lifted his head to look up from his task. Only then did he call out
"You came back. Knew you couldn't leave this beautiful face alone." Wei Wuxian said, obviously flirting.
"I wouldn't have come back if I could get out of this forest." Lan Wangji hissed at Wei Wuxian.
"We're in a problem solving forest?" Wei Wuxian asked. Well, that meant he also couldn't get out.
More time to spend time with him. Wei Wuxian thought.
"Since you're stuck with me, why don't you help me pick lotus flowers?" He asked.
"And why should I do that?" Lan Wangji asked him in his I've got no reason to do that tone.
"You have nothing better to do aside from playing me a piece. I desperatel would want to hear that." Wei Wuxian answered him and then smiled widely.

Wangji would definitely not play guqin for him, that's for sure, so he stuck with the first option. He placed his guqin aside, card up his trousers, took of his shoes and started to go in the water. It was cold as expected. Spring just started after the long winter and he was pretty sure this lake must've been frozen due to the cold. But it didn't bother him too much. He slowly walked to Wei Wuxian, who was back at examining flowers as he did before. When Wangji finally stood beside him, Wei Wuxian, without looking up from his task, held out the flowers to him.
"Can you hold that for me?" He asked in a sweet tone, one that you would use to persuade a maiden for a kiss or something like that. Despite his hesitation, Lan Wangji took the flowers and held them in his hand. It weren't much of them, only 3 or 4 flowers, but those were probably the must beautiful lotus flowers Lan Wangji has ever seen.
At least he has good taste in flowers. Lan Wangji said to himself.

Wei Wuxian then picked another flower from it's stalk and turned around to Wangji.
"This one is for you!" The red dragon hybride said enthusiastic. Another smile graced his face. Wangji was a little shocked by the young man's action, like who would give a flower to a stranger? Wangji didn't know, but he didn't want to be more rude than he already showed himself, so he took the flower, though he said nothing. Still, the young man's smile widened even more at Wangji taking the flower. The prince was curious though and asked
"For whom are the other flowers?" He asked with his still mutual expression.
"Oh, those are for my shiji and shidi. Their father took me in when I was little." Wei Wuxian said carelessly, giving information out to the open like pamphlets.
"But I've talked enough about me, what about you? You haven't told me anything about you." He hung at the end.
Lan Wangji absolutely didn't want to give information to this man, but he knew he needed to if he wanted to get out of the forest. Still, he wasn't comfortable about it and so he just said
"And I won't."
"Whyy~?" Wei Wuxian whined at the sentence Now pulling a little at Lan Wangji's sleeve.

"Because I'm not comfortable giving out personal details like some other here." Lan Wangji answered. Internally, he laughed at Wei Wuxian's whiny actions. He found it amusing. Why? He didn't know, he just did.

Maybe red dragons aren't as bad as they're always described.

After a little while of Wei Wuxian picking flowers, Lan Wangji saw how low the sun was standing right now. It must be already yǒu time and people are most likely searching for him now. Both already got out of the water and Wei Wuxian tried to chat with Wangji. It obviously didn't work the way Wei Wuxian wanted it to since Lan Wangji never said anything beside a "Mhn" sometimes, but that was enough for Wei Wuxian.
He quickly took a liking to the prince. Wei Wuxian knew he was a little anoying, but the other still listened to every word he said. It was something Wei Wuxian hasn't had in years. His brother and sister always too busy to listen to his hour long rants about pointless things. But now someone was willing to listen to those pointless monologues, even if he doesn't get a response.
It was... nice.
But of course Lan Wangji couldn't listen to those rants forever, so he eventually got up, grabbed his guqin and wanted to make his way, but as he was about to go, the red dragon spoke
"Where are you going?"
The white dragon looked back, eyeing the other one and responded
"Back home, it's already mid yǒu time. You should probably go home, too"
"But I don't want to. I like your company. Come on, stay for a little while longer and maybe you can play me a piece." The red dragon said in a flirtatious tone, grinning at Lan Wangji shamelessly.

Said one was stunned, never had anyone dared to talk to him like that. He quickly looked away from the boy and his ears tuned a deep shade of crimson red.
The other one, once seeing the other's ears turn red, only laughed in amusement. Never was anyone this flustered after he flirted with them.
He almost didn't hear the white dragon open his mouth and say in silent and embarrassed voice
„Lan Zhan"
The red dragon stopped laughing and only looked at the boy in confusion, before responding in a questioning tone
„What?"
„My name, it's Lan Zhan, courtesy name Lan Wangji. Didn't you want to know it so badly?"
The white dragon responded, still not giving the other even a single glance.
Silence reigned over the both, but not for long, maybe not even a minute, till the red dragon started to laugh.

The sweet sound of laughter filled the heart of the little clearing with joy, and not just the clearing, but also a part of the prince's heart. But he was badly embarrassed at this point and with that
"Piss off!" Lan Zhan hissed at the other dragon.
"Lan Zhan, you were always so polite, like you were meeting the king, and now you're telling me to 'Piss off'? Oh Lan Zhan." He said and quickly started to laugh again.
The white dragon just wanted to hide his face right now, but that would only make him lose face, so he quickly took his legs and walked away hastily.
„Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan, may fate reunite us again!" The red dragon called after him. Lan Wangji said nothing in response and continued to go back home, where he is supposed to be.

This time, the forest didn't trap him within it, and after about half an incense time, Lan Wangji was home again;

Back at cloud recesses.
