CHAPTER 2: ACADEMY

Cameron : "And that's how me and my sister got accepted to the academy..."

 After I've finished told Brenard about me and my sister, he immediately asked me.

Brenard :"Wait, you're twelve....?"

Darn, did i told him about that? I need to improvise,

Cameron "Nooo... My friend we're twelve. I'm sixteen years old."

I responded nervously. Brenard started giving me a skeptical look, and just nod.

Brenard :"meh, maybe you've grown slowly, that's why you looked very young." *Chuckles*

Yeah, I don't even know if he's actually dumb. well as long he doesn't know I'm too young for the academy I'm good. I've been talking to Brenard for so long that I didn't realize that we've already at the cafeteria for  half an hour! time flies really fast doesn't it.

Brenard : "Oh dude you haven't ordered anything yet, do you want me to get some food for you?"

I kindly declined his offer

Cameron : "Don't worry dude, I'll get it myself. Just save my seats for me will you?"

Brenard : "Aye Aye Captain!"

I shake my head seeing how weird my first friend are. I get off my seats and walked towards the food stalls. The food aren't that good, but it's pretty decent since it's free for all students. although, usually there is a 'Food Dealer' Whom sold foods, beverages, and deserts outside the academy. It's illegal to bring food from outside but in the end, none of the studends actually cares. 

I started to wait at the back of the line, it's pretty long i have to say. Though I'm pretty patient on waiting in line, it's weird that the line is pretty long since the food aren't that good. But of course you get what you get. So, I started waiting. And finally it's my turn to order. In front of me there is a huge, wrinkly, Old lady. Yup, she's the Lunch lady alright...

Lunch Lady : "Yeh, Wadhaya want kid?"

Cameron : "Uhm, why are you speaking like that?"

Lunch Lady : "Dunno, Don't care. Pick Now!"

Geez this lady can't take a break huh?

Cameron : "Alright sorry geez... I'll take the Egg and bacons with french bread and some chocolate milk."

Lunch lady : "*Mutters* hmm, egg bacons ,french bread, chocolate milk....  Alright kid there ya go. NOW GIT !"

I pick up my food and says thanks to the lunch lady while taunting her behind her back. As i look on my food tray. The egg is overcooked,the bacon is half cooked. And the bread is so pale, you could say the lunch lady might sucked the living soul out of my bread. How in the world one of the best academy in Enokstra has the worst food I've ever had in my life. At least the chocolate milk looks fresh. I shake my head in disappointment and continue walking.

I went back to my seats and as i sitting down, I feel a slight tap on the back of my shoulder. and to my surprise, it was Ming. I haven't seen her in 3 months after we passed the test.

Ming : "Hi Cameron... It's been a l-long time hasn't it...?" 

Cameron : "It's only been three months after we entered the academy, I don't think it's that long"

Ming : "Ooh.. I see.."

Ming responded while looking down embarrassed

Cameron : "But It's good to see you to Ming, do you want a seat?"
