(Jess' P.O.V.)
"What do you mean?" I say confused"We have laid here for days out cold." She paused for a moment before continuing in a sour tone.
"Our pack has been gone for days."
"No our pack is safe and sound...
No ones dead. They can't be." My voice dropping to a whisper running my hands through my hair.My wolf is silent.
"They can't be dead, they shouldn't be, that's impossible." I repeated it so many times it came to the point where I was trying to convince myself.
My mind floats to the possibility of survivors but is immediately crushed by the reality.
My stomach drops, my heart cracks, my world crumbles beneath my feet I can feel my body choke on it's own air, nothing same, nothing will be the same.
They're gone and I can feel it.
As I pick my body up from the damp forest floor I ran to my cold empty house opening the wooden door I walk slowly into the kitchen opening one of the kitchen drawers I pull out a steak knife putting it towards my throat I say the one thing I needed to say long ago.
"Goodbye."
