☔ Chapter 2 ☔

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock.

The high-pitched sound signaled me to wake up.

Dring! Driiinng!! Drrrrrrriiiiing!!!

I groaned as I turned to my side, slamming my hand on the button to shut the alarm clock up. Out of the corner of my head, I saw a bright spot of yellow.

As I stepped out of bed, I realized it was the umbrella he gave me.

Jeon Jungkook.

That was his name, right?

I began to recall the events that happened yesterday.

Me feeling free from this world until me slamming into a very good-looking guy.

How embarrassing.

I walked to my window, staring outside. The roads were wet from the rain that poured yesterday. Clear lines of droplets were swimming at different angles on the glass of my window.

The clouds were once again, a dark cloudy grey.

This time I won't forget my umbrella.

I glanced back at the yellow umbrella that the male had given me.

Would it be weird to take the umbrella to school? Even if I did see him again, then I could give it back.

I quickly got changed into my clothes, which was an oversized hoodie with shorts.

I walked over to the umbrella and picked it up, deciding that I'll bring the umbrella.

I plastered a smile on my face as I slid into my desk at the back of the classroom.

I drummed my fingers against the hard wood surface, waiting for my friends to come in.

I focused my attention to the doorway.

At that moment, he came in.

Jeon Jungkook.

I quickly turned my eyes away from him, not wanting to look like I was staring at him.

I slumped down in my desk, trying to hide myself from him.

After a few moments, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Is this seat taken?"
