Minas POV

Living Room

"Tzuyu".

"Yes?".

"I think... no, I know. I have feelings for you", I said.

She freezes at my words.  There's no joy, no relief. Just... coldness.

"No, Mina. I don't feel the same way".

I blink, feeling the sting of her words like a slap to my face. I had expected hesitation, maybe some awkwardness, but not this. Not this outright rejection. My throat tightens as I try to process what's happening, and for a second, I think I might cry, but I refuse to let the tears fall.

"You don't mean that. Tzuyu, you... know you felt something".

"It was a mistake. You're overthinking this, We don't mean anything. Just pawans in my fathers little game", she said.

I step closer, reaching out to her, but she steps back, putting more distance between us.

"Tzuyu, why are you pushing me away? You don't have to pretend. I know you, I know there's something".

"There's nothing!", she snaps, her voice rising, startling me.

Her hands clench into fists at her sides.

"Mina, just stop. Whatever you think is happening, it's not. I'm not interested in you like that, okay?".

She's lying. I can see it in the way her eyes flicker.

"Then why are you running away? If you really don't care, why can't you even look at me?".

"I'm not running away. I'm just being honest with you. This is how it has to be", she said.

I shake my head, not wanting to believe it.

"Why? What aren't you telling me? After everything? I know your illness".

"I'm sorry, Mina. But I can't do this. We can't do this".

"Tzuyu, please we can", I beg, but it's useless.

She's already shutting down, slipping through my fingers. Without another word, she walks away. I watch her go, as the door closes behind her. She does like me too. She's just too scared to admit it. Just then I got a call i sighed seeing it was her father.

I wasnt expecting to see tzuyu here.

"Thank you for coming. I wanted to discuss something important".

I glanced at Tzuyu, as I sat beside her.

"Tzuyu  you need to engage more with the public. Your role requires it."
