Preference- You make the NSC team

Before I even start, "NSC" stands for "National Speedskating Circuit."

The names for the placers are random.

Zayn: Your speed team coach recommended that you try out for the NSC team. You decide to take him up on that, and see if you would make it in the world of professional inline speed skating. You drove to the rink, where the tryouts were to be held. You checked in, and you were the only girl.

"Zayn, you know that I have no chance here. These are boys that I'm up against."

"Don't worry about it. You'll make it." The announcer made an announcement.

"Janel Jenkins, #112 (A/N: you got that number, because of Zayn) to the starting line. Janel Jenkins, #112, to the line, please. Thanks." You gave Zayn a quick kiss before skating, the long way, to the line. The entire audience was in shock when they found out that you were a girl. The referee got you positioned on the line, then started you.

"Skaters, to your mark.......set.....*beep*." You took off, and the rink went loud again, but there was 5 voices that you could point out. All 5 of the boys were there, cheering you on. You finished your 100m. time trial with a 0:09.346 seconds; ranking you in 2nd overall for the trials. If you could keep at least 4th, you would make the NSC team, but you would still have to try out for either sprint or endurance team in a month. There were 5 more people that still had to skate, so you got worried. Some of them came really close to your time, but when it came down to the last person, you were still in 2nd. No one had beat your time since you set it. The last person fell, automatically ending his chances on making the team. The announcer calculated the top 4, and announced them.

"In first place, with a 0:09.126, we have Justin Steller. In second, with a very close time of 0:09.346, Janel Jenkins. (the boys scream their heads off with you.) In third, with a 0:09.992, we have Cameran Desiet, and rounding out your NSC qualifiers, in fourth, with a 0:10.045, we have....Jasen Harris. Nice work, all of you, and the qualifiers, we'll see you in a month, at the Topperdrome, for the division qualifiers." Zayn started the fanboying about you making it, followed in by Niall, then Liam, Louis, and finally, Harry.

"Oh my God, babe, nice work! We are soo calling your coach, and telling him about this!"

"Nice work, Janel. Even I knew that you would make it."

"There's no way that I could ever do that. Good job, Janel."

"We're all very proud of you, and your coach will be, too." Zayn calls your coach, and when he tells the rest of the team, they are all upset, because due to you being on NSC, you can't skate RollerDrome Rampage any longer, but proud of you making it.

Niall: About 3 weeks ago, you had started trying out for the National Speedskating Circuit, and you were scared to death about if you would make it. You had made it into the final, and you skated it hard. They still had to calculate who made it on the team, and you were anxiously awaiting for a phone call from the NSC founder, Miguel Jose. Just when you were about to give up, the phone rang, and Niall rushed to answer it, beating you to it.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

"My name is Miguel Jose, founder of NSC, and I was looking at Janel's times for her qualifier..."

"Yea? What about them?"

"She made it. Can you tell her?"

"Yea, just a sec. (then to you) Janel, guess what?"

"What, who is that? Did I make NSC?"

"Actually, Janel, you........"

"Ni, tell me! Did I make it or not?"
