"Let's take a picture!" Jisung told Chenle but the smaller shook his head answering him no.

Jisung's smile faded and frowned.

"Why? It's not that taking a picture is a crime now."

"I don't want to take pictures. I'm in a mess right now." Chenle explained.

It was their last night on Shanghai and they enjoyed every single moment of it. It's tiring. But it felt good.

"You look beautiful though?" "a beautiful mess," Jisung said and Chenle rolled his eyes again.

He wipe his sweat and stare at the stars in the night sky.

Jisung stand beside him.

"A week flies so fast. We're going back to Seoul tomorrow." Jisung changed the topic.

Chenle looks at him but he remained looking at the city lights infront of them.

It was so beautiful. They can only hear the car moving here and there behind them, it was loud but the ambiance is romantically perfect.

"Are you going to miss Shanghai?" Chenle asked.

Jisung nodded.

"Of course, but I need to go back in Seoul and continue my life there. This experience in Shanghai will always have a big part in my heart. And it became more special because I'm with you."

Chenle stare at Jisung, and the younger look back.

It was a good moment of silence that Chenle hoped, time will stop for them.

His hope is getting higher but was halted when Jisung speak again that gave him a big pang on his chest.

"We're friends anyway."

Chenle smiled bitterly.

He look away and avoided Jisung's stare.

The younger noticed it so he became curious.

"Didn't you like the idea of us, being friends?" Jisung asked.

He didn't know why he asked it anyway.

It just came out from his mouth like it's the most relevant question that he should ask the older.

"Yeah, I don't like it." Chenle answered with a low voice.

Jisung held his breath.

"What?"

Chenle heaved a long sigh.

He looks at Jisung and gather all of his courage.

He looks at his eyes and let himself get lost with it.

"I like you." He said.

It was just low but the younger heard it clearly.

Jisung on the other hand got shocked and his tongue tied up and he can't think clearly so he just remained silent while letting his jaw drop on the floor. He like him? Since when?

"I didn't say it for you to like me back. I just said it so you know that I am not seeing you just as a friend. For you to be aware that whatever you say or do, it makes my heart go crazy.. I like you. I don't know when did it start, and I don't know how to end it. I guess I just really need to tell you this so when we go back to Seoul, I can forget my feelings for you and we can remain friends."

Jisung blink. His mind can't absurd what the older is saying right now.
His mouth open to at least say something, but he's lost of words. He can't believe his friend is confessing to him right now.
