STORYBROOKE
Emma was walking through town with Henry, they were worried about Mary Margaret and were trying to think of ideas that could get her out of this mess. It was hard to defend her when there was so much evidence piled against her but they both knew that she was not capable of something like this.
It was almost time for school to start and the other children were racing up the school steps, none of them worried about a missing teacher from their classrooms. They were too focused on playing with their friends to think about anything that serious.
The two were in deep thought about what to do to help their friend, Henry was convinced that Mary Margaret was being framed by Regina because he believed in the stories from his book. He knew that this town was cursed and no one remembered who they were, they needed someone to save them and he was trying to make Emma believe too.
His eyes drifted across the school yard and landed on two blondes. The smaller blonde was Paige, a girl in his class who was always polite to him and had a creative mind. Her hair was braided down her back and her cheeks were flushed from the excitement of the school day. She told the best stories to the rest of the class, some that could challenge the books that he read about in his own book.
The taller blonde was Bridget, her hair was cut just above her shoulders and she wore a smart suit, ready for whatever job she was taking on that day. She never stayed in a job for more than a month, hated the thought of settling into something that she didn't enjoy and therefore, tried her hand at everything. She was a people person and this allowed her to meet more people, having fun and having enough time to spend with her daughter too. Bridget was friendly with Regina, their children were similar ages and they enjoyed dinners every once in a while. She was the only friend that Regina really had in this town.
What the two blondes didn't know, was that they weren't really Bridget and Paige. Those were just the names that they had been given under the curse, they had a much better, much happier story in the Enchanted Forest but the queen was punishing everyone.
Henry nodded across the yard, "I think we should start with her."
Looking over, Emma could see Bridget waving to her daughter as she entered the school. All she could see was a mother waving her child into school and didn't understand how that could help them clear Mary Margaret's name. Her eyebrows furrowed together, "Who's that?"
"Alice."
"As in Alice in Wonderland?" She scoffed, not actually believing that her son was telling her another person in town was actually a fairy tale character.
She had heard him recount many townspeople as characters but it wasn't getting any easier. Henry thought that Mary Margaret was Snow White, David was Prince Charming, Regina was the Evil Queen and even that Archie Hopper was Jiminy Cricket. Hearing that he believed this blonde woman to be Alice, from Alice in Wonderland, wasn't a surprise but it was still slightly concerning.
