Looking in the mirror Jordana put her head down. Her eyebrow and surrounds are bruised and swollen. She still can't believe her papa would do this to her. With one last look, Jordana put her hooded jumper on. She needs to go into town and purchase an ipad. Grabbing her keys off of the hall table, Jordana left the house. 
Arriving in the center, Jordana got out of her car and locked it.
"Want to tell me why you are not resting?" Jordana grinned but quickly covered it before looking at Sean "what to tell me why you aren't working?" "Touche" "I'm going in there" Jordana pointed to the tech store "ah-huh for what exactly?" "An ipad" "right for the business. Well I'm coming" "don't you have work to do?" Maitland always gives me work to do but Im not doing it right now" Jordana let a small laugh slip "okay. Remind me never to hire you" "ouch I'm just looking out for you and you treat me this way. Hurting my feelings, I'm devastated" "and yet you are still here" "yep" Jordana laughed "well hurry up bodyguard" entering the store, Jordana looked around. "You need to remove your hood in here" Jordana rolled her eyes and removed her hood "better now?" The attendants eyes went wide "ahh.. yeah sorry. We have a lot of young ones in here" "I will take the compliment. Now I'm looking for an ipad" Sean smirked but quickly covered it "I can show you" following the attendant to the ipads, Jordana looked at all of them "this one" Jordana pointed showing the attendant "okay ma'am. We have them out the back. I will go get one" as the attendant walked off Sean spoke "got enough?" "Plenty and I need to go to the hardware store" Sean looked at Jordana with curiosity "what for?" "A Lazer because my asshole of a papa took it and I need it to measure spaces" "hmm alright well I'm coming" "you have work to do" "you are worse than my boss" Jordana smirked "lucky you don't work for me then. Id have you working hard" as Sean's phone rang Jordana chuckled "that will be boss man" "you answer it" Jordana shrugged.
"Boss man" "Jordana? Why are you with Sean?" "He's my body guard I think" "yep" Maitland grinned on the other end of the phone "he should be working" "that's what I said" "why are you not resting?" "Ma'am this is the one?" Jordana looked at the iPad "yes thank you". As they walked to the counter Maitland spoke
"What are you buying?" "A Lamborghini to go with my Porsche" "tell me it's an apple" "no. Eww definitely not" "what's wrong with apple?" "I like the green ones but I just don't feel like one right now" Maitland laughed "how much?" "Nineteen hundred" "Jordana don't get ripped off" "nah it's the new one".
"Ma'am that's one thousand nine hundred" "yeah by card thanks. I want the receipt too" "yes ma'am".
"I can send the worker back" "good" "Sean you have to go back" "does he know you have somewhere else to go?" Jordana shook her head with a smirk. She knows what game he's playing "where are you going Jordana?" "Going to get a new toy to play with" Maitland thought what she could possibly need but come up with nothing "take Sean with you" "nah Im not paying for his work ethic it's crap" Sean and Maitland laughed as the man behind the counter handed over the iPad "thanks" "welcome. have a good day" "you too".
"I pay him anyway. Just want to make sure you are safe" "what if he's not?" "What if I'm not what?" "Sticky nose" Maitland laughed. He likes this side of Jordana, this is the way she used to be all the time. "You can't be taking me to the strippers Jordana" "I thought you liked em hard Sean" "oh nah. Hand me that phone back" Jordana shrugged and handed the phone back as she let a small laugh slip. Placing the iPad on the back floor of her car, she looked around. "Maitland said you didn't even say bye" "good messenger boy aren't ya" Sean chuckled "you sure are in a good mood" "how dare you accuse me of being grumpy. Can you walk and talk or is it that you can only do one thing at once?" "I have been walking and talking" "you are standing there and I have to go down there" Sean and Maitland laughed "okay I'm coming".
"Where is she going Sean?" "To the hardware store she needs a new Lazer" "Lazer? Oh the measuring one. Just keep an eye on her" "yeah noone is going to be touching her" "just speak about me like I'm not here. You could do that while you pretend to work" Maitland laughed "tell her I said we do" "Maitland said we do" "I never knew I was a contract" Sean laughed "you aren't but you sure are entertaining" "so I join a circus.. oh no thats right I already have a clown with me" "Jordana" Maitland cracked up laughing "I think she hit the nail on the head with that one. I have work to do. My office bitch won't do it" "it's a long coffee break. You work me too hard" "okay this is not a conversation for my ears" "Jordana no.." "I'm not getting involved in that. Nuh-uh my poor ears" Jordana rushed ahead making Sean laugh "okay I'm going. Bye" "bye".
Maitland put his phone down with a massive grin on his face. That woman is surely having a good day. He likes hearing her happy. Not so much that she is out when she should be resting but he knows Jordana likes to keep busy plus while she is at the house, she can so some things on the iPad if she feels up to it.

"Can I help you?" "Maybe. I'm looking for a Lazer measurer" "we stock them. I will show you where they are" "thanks" as Jordana followed the attendant through the store she looked around. "You are here for a Lazer, stop looking" Jordana turned to look at Sean "I'm not paying you" "you weren't anyway" "then stop talking" Sean laughed "hey I'm just saying, save your money" "what if there's something I want?" "Is there?" "Well I don't know, you told me to stop looking" Sean grinned "okay I will keep quiet".
"Is this what you are looking for?" Jordana looked at the Lazer with a grin "exactly" Jordana grabbed one off of the shelf "okay I better pay for this before I spot something else I like" "she listens" "he's not learning" "I'm the teacher. I don't need to listen" "smartest thing you have said all day" "it's morning" "that says it all" "hey" Jordana let out a laugh.
As they approached the counter, Jordan put the Lazer down "that's all you need?" "Yes thank you" "one hundred and twenty" "for a measurer?" "It's a Lazer Sean, of course it's going to be more than a ten dollar measuring tape" "that's a lot" "worth it and saves time". As she paid for it Sean grabbed it "he's stealing my stuff" the man behind the counter smirked "best you chase him then. Here's your receipt" "thank you".
"Sean give me that" "I want to play with it" "it doesn't measure small things" Sean looked at Jordana with a smirk "what?" "How do you know if it's small?" "I don't" "yeah that's right and it's not" "keep defending yourself" "I will. Hey this thing ain't bad" "makes my job easier" "I bet" Sean handed the measuring Lazer to Jordana "now go home" "what if I don't want to go back to the house?" "What else could you want to do?" "Keep you on your toes for a bit longer. Go back to work" "ouch. You drag me around just to get rid of me" "I didn't drag you. Your boss made you stay" Sean grinned "yep. So I'm avoiding paperwork as long as I can. What are we doing?" "I'm going back to the house. To suss out my new toy" "never knew you were into that type of thing" "should've taken you to the strippers. Seems like you need it" Sean laughed "Nuh I'm good" "well as we are back at my new ride. You can go back to your paper work" "going to the house?" "Yes" satisfied, Sean grinned "have fun" "you too".

"Sean" Maitland knew it would be him as soon as the door opened up "alright boss I'm back for very light duties" "all those papers are light if you pick them up one by one" "argh I should've stopped for a coffee" "you had plenty of time for that" "well I was on my way there until seen Jordana" "is she alright?" "In a very playful mood" "I picked that up already" Sean grinned "have fun boss man" "cut it out and get to work" "on it boss" Maitland smirked
