I need you to run, NOW
My head was spinning... run? What's going on? I stared at Boyer just smiling at me. That smile was one of those smiles you'd see a character on TV give when they're about to lose their shit. That smile that shows that they will try and kill you... and that's the smile Boyer was giving me. My body couldn't move, I was frozen in place, scared that if I move, he would see me.
"Garret! We need a way out of this realm!" Tasha yelled over the screams of terror that went throughout the classroom.
"I don't know how to do that, genius, only Zasal does, you know this," Garrett said back with a lot of sass.
"Well, we have to figure something out or our only way to save Agadia will die."
Only way to save Agadia... not friend? Not lover?
Those words just snapped me out of it, that's all they see me as. That's fucked.
I've spelled a door in your school's book room.
The library?
Yes.
How did you do that? You're bound to my mind.
My powers are increasing.
"Whatever," I mumbled. "Eida says she spelled a door in the library." They looked at me, asking the same question I asked her. "Her powers are increasing, whatever that means."
"Can someone explain what the fuck is going on and who is Eida? What is Professor Boyer?" Jason snapped.
"We can explain later, we have to get to the library, now." Tasha said, taking my hand.
"AH! What's that!?" Aria and Mia yelled in that twin-same-time thing that they do often, then ran to us, hiding behind Jason and Garrett.
"We can't bring them," Tash stated as we made our way to the exit, pushing through the other students and avoiding the demons. Now their aim was us, luckily Garrett kept punching them out of the way with little effort. Tasha kept a tight grip on my wrist, Jason and the twins stayed close.
"We can't leave them to die, Tash... they're coming." I snapped. It still annoyed me that they only saw me as a savior and not their friend... they're doing this to save the vessel. Then... I saw Jason being pulled away by a demon. "Jason!!" I pulled my hand out of Tasha's hand and rushed over to him, pulling him as hard as I could. We both fell on the floor, free from the demon. I felt someone hovering over me, Boyer. "Professor... what's going on?" I asked, my body was shaking.
Kimberly, that is not your professor, that is—
"Oh, my sweet Aclala," Boyer interrupted her voice in my head, more demons appearing behind him. They were taking the rest of my classmates and then disappearing with them. "I'm so happy to finally hear your voice after all these decades," his voice was chilling, and angry, and rang through my mind as well as my ears. He can hear her... "To think you'd use a trick that I taught you to warn your vessel is cute, but alas..." he smirked. "You're too late." He charged forward, I screamed, closing my eyes and covering my head. Like that'll help. A loud grunt was heard. I opened my eyes to see Tasha standing between us.
My eyes widened; Boyer's hand went straight through her chest.
"TASHA!!" I wailed, trying to go to her, but Garrett picked me up and pushed me behind him. "NO! TASHA! TASHA!" I continued to scream. Tasha looked back and smiled.
"Shame," Boyer scoffed, pulling his hand out of her chest, her body dropped to the floor. "I wasn't planning on killing anybody else but the vessel..."
