_naruto pov._
I am on my way to the academy, but I am pretty excited because today is the day we are going to be assigned teams. I can't wait to see who is on my team. Not gonna lie I hope Sasuke is in my team.
Kurama: Oh?
Naruto: NOT LIKE THAT KURA!!! Its so I-
Kurama: can ask him out?
Naruto: NO!!!!
Kurama: come on kit, just admit you have fallen for him
Naruto: Well, it's not like he likes me back. And besides, we are both boys!
Kurama: so? What is wrong with that? I remember one of my old jinchuriki was gay (A/N this is not canon, but this is a fanfic soo..)
Naruto: still! anyway we can't talk now, we have arrived at the academy. bye Kura-nee!
Kurama: bye kit!
- breaks the connection with Kurama-
I sigh as I open the door to the class. I was early, so the only other people who were there were Shikamaru who was sleeping on his desk, and Sasuke who probably got here first. I went ahead and took the seat next to Sasuke, and waited for class to officially start.
_Sasuke's Pov._
I got to the academy first, then Shikamaru, then surprisingly Naruto. when he walked in, he looked a bit flustered, but still had on the bright smile that always lit up the room. He looked at me, and at Shikamaru, then back at me. Then he walked towards me and sat down next to me.
I don't know why, but being around him gave me a weird feeling in my stomach. I guess I was happy I had someone close to a friend that wasn't a fangirl, or someone who was friends with me for my power. Although, he probably thinks of me as more like a rival more than a friend.
I focus back at Naruto. he has just fallen asleep on my shoulder. My stomach feels so much weirder, kind of like when you are falling from some place high (don't ask)
_Shikakmaru pov._
Ok I am not the type of person to get shocked, as it is such a drag, but what I am seeing is worth the drag. Not only is Naruto sleeping on Sasuke's shoulder, but Sasuke is letting him!!! From the looks of it, he was also blushing!!! I may not seem like the type to ship people, but life is boring and there is nothing to do so I like to see who would go nice with who, and those two are #1. *yawn* I'm going back to sleep, this is too troublesome.
_Naruto pov._
I didn't realise I was asleep till I was awoken by a screech. I opened my eyes to see Ino and Sakura, Sasuke's biggest fangirls, arguing about who got there first and who got to sit next to Sasuke. What I also did not realize was that I had fallen asleep on Sasuke's shoulder. Hopefully, he didn't notice...
