The Doctor. I had been dreaming about him for about sixteen years now. Hoping he would one day take me away in that magical blue box of his. I fell asleep a few hours ago. But was awakened by an un-heard, and yet familiar noise. I looked outside my window into my backyard, and saw a box. A blue box! The same blue box from my dream! I ran downstairs, and to my backyard. I stood in front of the box, and knocked on the door. The door's opened, and standing in the dorway of the impossable box was a man wearing a tweed jacket, and a red bow tie with black hair, and a chin that looked imposable. "Doctor?" I asked waiting for a response. "Yes Spencer?" He replied.

I beamed in excitement, and hugged him tightly. He hugged back. I broke the hug after several seconds. "Well. We both know each others names." I smiled. "That we do." The Doctor smiled, and took some sort of device out of his pocket, and scanned me. "What are you doing Doctor?" I asked. He then flicked it open, and looked at it. A look of happiness spread across his face. "What is it Doctor?" I asked. He closed the device, and put it back in his pocket. "You're a timelord Spencer!" He exclaimed looking really happy. My face twisted into a look of confussion. "What's a timelord?" I asked. The Doctor stepped out of his box, and closed the door headed over to the house. I followed. "It's complicated." He said.

He let himself in, and started looking for something. Or someone. "Let's see if we can find you're parents." The Doctor looked aimlessly around for them. I chuckled. "Their upstairs silly." I smiled. He walked upstairs. "Oh. I knew that." He said. I followed, and we walked to my parents bedroom door. I opened it, and saw my mom was awake. I held a hand up to let the Doctor know to stay put. "Hey mom." I smiled. "Hey Spencer. Good morning." She replied. "You know how I have been talking about the Doctor a lot?" I asked. She nodded. "And you don't think he is real right?" I asked. She nodded again. I made a hand motion from behind the doorframe, and he walked over to my mom smiling.

"Hello. I'm the Doctor." He said adjusting his bow tie. "How did he get in?" She asked. I could tell she was starting to get angry. "I don't want to hurt anyone." The Doctor smiled. He looked over to me. How ever, my mom was still mad. My dad then woke up. "What's going on here?" He asked. "Dad, that is the Doctor." I said pointing to him. "Hello." He said. He looked to my mom. "I'm here for him." The Doctor said pointing to me. "He is a timelord." He added. My parents both had extremely confused looks on their faces. As did I. "What's a timelord?" She asked. Calming down. "A timelord is a humanoid extraterrestrial being like me from the planet Gallifrey." He began. A few minutes have passed, and the sun was already peeking over the horizon. The Doctor explained every bit of information from the academy back on Gallifrey, to the regeneration, the TARDISes, and everything else. "So, what you'r saying Doctor. Is that our son is an alien?" My parents asked in unison. "Yes." The Doctor replied nodding. "I would love to take him with me if thats OK." He asked.

She shook head yes. The Doctor, and I looked at each other happily. "Only on one condition." She said firmly. The Doctor, and I looked to her. "What's that?" I asked. "You have to come see us once a week. OK Spencer?" She said. "I will." I promised. She smiled. We stormed out the door, back downstairs, and into the box. We stopped outside the TARDIS. My heart or hearts beating away under my chest. "I am so exited!" I exclaimed placing my hand on the handle of the door. "Well, let's go then." he smiled, and nudged me. I opened the door, and my eyes were filled with the image on beauty. The console room.

I walked inside looking all around. The Doctor followed in behind me, and shut the door. "So Spencer..." He paused, and clapped his hands together. "Where would you like to start?" He asked. I smiled as wide as a mile. "Anywhere." I replied walking up to the console. Making sure not to touch anything. I sat in one of the chairs looking around. The Doctor walked up to the console, and started playing with the controls like a five year old who just got a new toy on Christmas morning. I smiled watching him. He stopped. "Why did you stop Doctor?" I asked sounding confused. He looked over to this one important looking lever. "Would you like to throw it?" He asked. I got up, and walked over to it. I put my hand on it, and was ready to throw it. "Go ahead." He said encouraging me. I then threw the lever, and the column in the middle started to move up and down. My face twisted into a look of exitment. Now knowing where we were going to end up. I sat back in the chair, and the Doctor pressed a few more buttons, and threw the switch I threw earlier. We then landed, and I noticed the column in the center stopped moving. I did not know what it was, so I decided to ask him. "Doctor?" I asked. "Yes?" He replied. "What's that column in the center?" I asked. "That is the time rotor. It tells us weather or not we are in flight." He replied.

We raced to the door's. He won. "Where are we?" I asked. Completely clueless, and smiling. "I don't know... We'll just have to see when I open the door." He replied. The anticipation was growing inside me. More like a mix of emotions. Fear, surprise, a whole list. Why was I scared? Because I do not know what to expect when he opens the doors. An alian planet full of aliens that was to kill us? Or is it full of aliens that are kind and Compassionate? I took a breather. "OK Doctor. I'm ready." I said waiting. He smiled, and opened the door's. What I saw outside the doors blew my mind. It was maybe the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I stepped out. He followed behind me.

We stepped out in Germany. Somewhere in the 1940's. I heard gunshots in the distance. "Doctor?" He stepped out, and closed the door. "WWII. Germany. 1940's." He smiled. I looked to him scared. "World war II?!" I shouted. Gunshots still in the distance. "Yeah. This is a war between Nazis and the British." He started walking off. I followed him. After a few minutes of walking, two Nazis stopped us. "Who are you?" One of them asked. I could understand them! Though I never took a foreign language class in school. "I'm the Doctor." he said adjusting his bow tie. "How can I understand them?" I whispered. "The TARDIS has a universal translator." He whispered back. "Just sight seeing". I told them. They pointed their guns at us. My hearts were pounding. "Spy's!" They yelled. A look of fear spread across my face. "What?! Were not spy's! We're travelers!" I said throwing my hands in the air. The Doctor looked to me, then back to the German soldiers. "We're not spy's. We're travelers." He said. The Nazis walked behind us. Their guns still raised. "Tell that to Hitler." The other said. They nudged us with the muzzles of their guns. We walked forward not saying a word. They led us to a truck, and packed us in the back. They closed the trunk, and patted the back. The truck drove off. I looked to the Doctor. "Where are they taking us?" I asked. Fear in my eyes. "To Hitler." He replied taking a device out of his pocket. "Whats that?" I asked eyeing the device. "This is a sonic screwdriver." He said pointing it toward the floor. He held the button down. A green light, and a soft buzzing sound emitted from the device. The truck broke down! He did the same to the trunk. We ran out. We kept running, and found the TARDIS! We ran inside, and quickly took off.

We were exhausted from the running. "That... Was... AMAZING!" I shouted laughing. The Doctor also laughed. "Do you have a pen, and a pad?" I asked. He looked to me. "Yeah. Why?" He asked. "I want to make a log of all my fantastic adventures!" I smiled. He returned my smile and walked around to the other side of the console. He came back half a second later with the pad, and pen. I took it from him, and began to write in it. 'Germany, 1940' I wrote. And titled it, 'My adventures with the Doctor'. I yawned. "You tired Spencer?" He asked. I nodded. He took me by the arm, and led me too a bedroom. We each got in one of the two beds. I was out like a light as soon as my head hit the pillow.
