Chapter Sixteen: Sole Mate Joining (Two days)

***Spencer POV***

I woke up next to Alayna with my arm still around her waist. I kissed her forehead, and she smiled. Her eyes opened. "Good morning sole mate." I said. She giggled, and she kissed my forehead. I got up, and turned back around. "I'm going to take a shower babe." I said walking towards the bathroom, and opening the door. I walked inside, and closed the door. I turned the shower on, took my clothes off, and got in. Once I was done, I dried myself off with a TARDIS blue towel that was hanging on the rack. I peeked out the door, and saw Alayna wasn't in the room anymore. "Good. She's not here." I said closing the door, and putting my clothes back on. I then walked out of the bathroom, and back to the console room. I saw Alayna, and the Doctor sitting in the chairs. I walked behind Alayna, and scared her. "Ahh!" She jumped. I chuckled. She turned around, and playfully punched my arm. "Babe. Don't do that." She playfully whined sticking her tongue out at me. I smiled, and she giggled. The Doctor smiled. I walked up to the console, and sat in one of the chairs.

"She walked over to me, and sat in my lap. I locked her in place by wrapping my arms around her waist, and holding both my hands in each others. She giggled. "Alayna." The Doctor called out. She looked to him. "Yes Doctor?" She replied. "Let me see you'r arm." He asked. She complied, and gave him her arm. He examined the markings on her arm, and smiled. "The sole mate joining. It's tomorrow!" He exclaimed with excitement. She smiled, and he gave her her arm back. Alayna and I looked to each other, and smiled. "But there is one thing." The Doctor added. We looked to him with looks of confusion on our faces. "You two can't see each other until the joining begins." He added. Looks of sadness were spread across our faces. The Doctor felt sympathy for us knowing how much we love each other. "Hey. It's OK. It's only until the joining begins." He said smiling. We smiled, which made us smile, and in turn feel al little better. I kissed her cheek, and she returned the kiss by kissing my cheek. She sat in my lap again, and I again locked her down. She giggled again.

"Are you hungry?" The Doctor asked. Alayan and I nodded. The Doctor got up, and walked to the hallways, and waited for us. "Come on you two." He chuckled. Alayna got up, and I followed. I took her hand, and walked toward the hallways. He led us both to the kitchen. "Alright. Let's see here..." The Doctor said walking around the kitchen. He opened the fridge, and pulled out doe eggs, then he walked to the pantry, and got some pancake mix. I smiled. "I wonder how well he can cook." I said to myself. Within minutes, the wonderful smell of chocolate chip pancakes filled the air. My stomach growled louder. The Doctor set the plates on the table. Dalton came running in as soon as he smelled them. "I smell pancakes!!!" Dalton exclaimed. Alayna, The Doctor, and I laughed. "Dalton, you'r silly." Alayan said smiling. We all walked to the table, and sat down. The Doctor brought us all milk, forks, and put maple syrup in the center of the table. I poured some syrup on my pancakes, and started eating. The Doctor however wasn't eating. "Doctor?" I called out. The Doctor turned to me.

"Yes Spencer?" He replied. "Arn't you going to eat?" I asked. He shook his head. "No. I'm not hungry." He lied. Not wanting us to know he does not actually like pancakes. Alayna, Dalton, and I continued eating. After we finished eating, I chugged my milk to wash the pancakes down. I got up, and got more. Alayna did the same. Pretty soon, the pancakes were all gone. "Wow. You were hungry!" The Doctor said shocked at how fast we ate the pancakes. "You are an amazing cook!" Dalton, Alayna, and I smiled. The Doctor returned our smile. "Thank you all." He said hugging us. We formed a group hug. A lightbulb then went off in my head. "I have an idea!" I exclaimed. Everyone looked to me. "What is it?" Dalton, Alayna, and The Doctor asked. "How about we invite the Avengers, my parents, and a few of you'r past companions?" I said. The Doctor smiled. "That is a great idea Spencer!" The Doctor said giving me a high five. We all rushed to the console room, and the Doctor quickly took off shouting 'GERONIMO!' I chuckled. The Doctor landed shortly after. I opened the doors, and we saw New York.

Iron man was getting rid of the machine on the top of his building, and the Hulk was destroying it. "TONY!" I shouted. Tony looked to me, and recognized the blue box in the distance, and he came flying over. The Hulk walked over, and soon everyone was in front of the TARDIS. Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Capitain America, and the Black Widow. "Hey Spencer." Tony remembered my name. I smiled. Tony's helmet opened, and we saw his face. Thor saw Dalton, and Alayna. "Who are these two?" Thor asked. I looked back to Dalton and Alayna. I stepped aside, and they walked out. "Hello." They said in unison. The Hulk changed back to Bruce Banner. He didn't have a shirt on. "Is there a draft in here?" Banner asked playfully. We all laughed. "I'll be right back." The Doctor chuckled disappearing into the TARDIS. "So why are you here?" Hawkeye asked. Alayna showed his her arm. "This." She said smiling. They all wondered what it was. "What does that mean?" Thor asked. "It means 'Sole Mate'." I clarified. "Sole mate?" Tony asked. "Yeah. It means we are 'married' in a way." I said using air quotes when I said married.

They all smiled. The Doctor came back with a purple shirt, and handed it to Banner. "Thank's Doctor." Banner said with a smile, and put it on. "So how has Peyton been?" The Doctor asked. "Great." Hawkeye replied with a smile. "Would you like to come with us?" The Doctor asked. "Yes." Everyone replied with a smile. "Alright. Come on in." The Doctor said opening the TARDIS doors. The Avengers, Dalton, and the Doctor walked in. Alayna and I followed holding hands. I closed the doors by snapping, and the Doctor took off to pick up our parents.
