Between the Blocks: Minecraft Story Mode x Male Reader

Character Bio

Name: Y/n 

Appearance: Look guys, I don't know how to make skins in Minecraft. You can either imagine this story in the style of Minecraft, or any other way you want it. There'll be a mix of styles for images in this, because I'm not learning a whole new skillset for one book. Imagine you look like this image: 

Just without the headphones, since phones aren't a thing here.

Personality: Y/n is incredibly shy around others. Most people think of him as barely better than a witch, and that caused him to be the victim of a lot of bullying and harassment. Only Jesse's Gang really accepted him, so he taught them everything he knew. He's slowly learned to open up around them.
Despite being a genius with the arcane, he's somewhat dense when it comes to people's emotions. Petra has flirted with Y/n on several occasions, but he never realizes that she's doing it, and just thinks she's a nice person. 

Skills: Y/n is an expert on enchantments and potions. He keeps multiple books on him at all times where he's recorded his knowledge and findings for others to learn. He also records information on animals, monsters, and the environment, having accidentally discovered new animals previously. While he isn't particularly good with a sword, he carries lots of potions for both aiding and ailing. He's made splash potions to affect areas, and has also managed to get his hands on Dragon's Breath (somehow) to make lingering potions to create large clouded areas where his potions will affect people. He also carries an enchanted journal that can enchant items with any effect, and a stick that has multiple enchantments on it for close-quarters combat, and a bow with the infinity enchantment that he uses to fire potion-dipped arrows. 

Weapons: 

Magic Stick: Can be used to summon lightning or fire, inflict large knock-back, repair items, or to dig through areas. 
Magic Leather Boots: Enchanted with feather falling and depth strider. Dyed dark grey. 
Magic Bow: Enchanted with Power V and Infinity. 
Magic Journal: Can enchant items with any enchantment at the cost of Y/n's stamina and lapis. 
Potions: Must be drank. All types. 
Splash Potions: Can be thrown, but have shorter derivations than drank potions. All types. 
Lingering Potions: Creates a cloud that applies the effect, but foes out of the cloud loose the effect very quickly. Has Poison, Float, Blindness, Weakness, and Regeneration. 

Friends: 

Jesse: Y/n's first real friend, she dragged him out of his shell and brought him into her friend group. The two are extremely close. She has a slight crush on Y/n, but neither realize it. Jesse considers Soren to be one of her Idols (at the start of the series).
