I don't pay attention to the world ending. It has ended many times, and begins again in the morning. -Nayyirah Waheed

I awoke from my sleep screaming about what happened, a blood curdling scream tore threw me as my body flung up hipper ventilating. "Please, Please! Anyone please! I'm down here! Please save me!" I cried as loud as I could with all my might.
All of a sudden a lean body sprung out of the water, to the edge of the sand bar he held himself up with his big arms "be quite!" He hissed "do you want to get yourself killed?" I gasped as he suddenly appeared my heart raced. "then just kill me!" I screamed as I moved away from him. He shook his head "I saved your life why would I kill you." He snarled, I tilted my head "why would you save me in the first place?"
He leaned back his eyes not giving away a single emotion, his body ridged and stiff. "that's for me to know you human." He spit out "yeah I'm human but what are you huh?" He shook his head in disgust "a merman." "well no duh." I said shivering from the cold " W-what's your name?" I asked where the courage came from I don't know. He swam back and looked at me "Troy." Troy? I thought to myself that's a gods name if I ever heard one I nodded
"I'm lemon. I would say nice to meet you but since you decided to kidnap me, I won't give you the curtesy."
he chuckled what a musically enticing sound. It was music to my ears and made my body warm up if I wasn't so terrified of the beast in front of me I might of said I liked him. "I did not kidnap you I saved you human." I curled up more pulling my legs against my breasts. "same, same" I retorted
"but why?" I asked curious about his foreign actions. "why didn't you let me die?" he sunk a little deeper in the water "i was curious." he said I qurecked my brow up.
"About what, how to commit murder. You dragged me here to this selcouth place. Alone, starving." He gave me a blank stare like I was talking mad. "Murder? Selcouth? No you puny human, you." I gasped why does he care about me, Jesus Christ can I just wake up from this horrible horrible dream.
"Why cant I scream for help?"
I questioned staring down at the brown rich sand. It was my only chance of surviving. He leaned forward "scream If you really want to die. Obviously I'm not the only one like me, and if they hear you like I did your dead. Human flesh is a delicate food. We don't get often and they'd jump at the chance for a pretty little thing like you to play with."
I shudder at the thought rubbing my arms feeling each and every one of my goose bumps. "so what your just keeping me to eat me like a bag of potato chips." I snorted at the thought. He obviously didn't need to diet. he tilted his head and gave me a devious smile. "no. At least not yet. I have my reasons."
He stated not even caring about what he just said my lungs burned from the sea water I was forced to drink my stomach gurgled. "if I stay here I'll die."
He looked unsatisfied with what I said. he moved his arm in front of him to pull himself closer to the edge of the water, I instinctively moved as far back as I could. I watched his lean body flex as he moved. "What if that's what I want." He deadpanned, a small look of amusement came across his face I squinted my burning eyes "I have a feeling that's not what you want."
all my courage and anger bubbling out. He sighed laying his face down on his arms that rested on the sand flopping his tale behind him, watching the gils on his arms open and close as he flexed the bulging muscles around them.
He smirked when he realized I was checking him out. Just as fast as he came he was gone leaving me alone in the desolate cave yet again. With nothing.
