two

yuri hated being all alone. she furiously grabbed the broom from the closet and made her way to the science lab where she was supposed to do the clean up.

 she stood by the doorway and before entering, peeked at woo jin who was cleaning up the hallway. 

he had a wide smile on his face, his cheeks covered with blush as he happily chatted with han ae ri who was one of their classmates. han ae ri was beautiful there was no denying that and the way woo jin intently listened to her made yuri realize that he liked her.

 it made her heart feel heavy but she decided to ignore it and strolled inside the science lab.

 "hey yuri." joon yeong, the boy with the glasses spoke up as he cleaned the window panes.

 "hi." yuri murmured and started cleaning the floor. 

"you sound so upset. what's wrong?" he chuckled lightly, fixing his glasses as he did so.

"it's nothing." yuri answered without looking up at him. 

"is it because of woo jin?" he guessed, well aware of the fact that the two had an argument.

 "i don't wanna talk about him." yuri stated.

"don't be so grumpy. he actually just wanted to ask ae - ri out." joon yeong blurted out without realizing,"that is why-"

"han ae-ri?" yuri turned around to face him. "yes." joon yeong hesitantly nodded,"wasn't it obvious though?"

"you're right." yuri half heartedly agreed and sighed. she suddenly felt down for no reason.

 she sat down on one of the chair to ease off the uneasy feeling growing inside her chest. if she had to be honest, she had liked woo jin for quite a while but she was confident that he didn't feel the same way. 

after cleaning, yuri picked up the bucket of water in one hand and the broom in other before walking out of the science lab. she heard woo jin's soft laughter and glanced to her side to find him still talking to her. feeling upset for no reason, yuri dropped the bucked on the floor which made ae-ri and woo jin jump apart in surprise. 

"what the hell yuri, you gave us a heart attack." woo jin complained and picked up the empty bucked,"i and ae-ri literally just finished up cleaning the hallway and you had to ruin it."

"well then clean up again. at least you would get more time to spend with her. enjoy." yuri smiled and snatched the bucket out of his hand.

 she angrily threw the bucked and broom in the closet and slammed the door shut.

"easy yuri." cheong san chuckled as he motioned her to move aside so that he could keep his broom inside. "sorry." yuri gave him an apologizing smile and walked away. she wasn't feeling well, not after she found woo jin tried asking ae ri out.
