yuri kept staring at her ceiling, the faint noise of other's on their daily morning chores reaching her ears. she glanced at the clock to find she still had an hour to get ready for school but she didn't feel like going to school. 

she didn't want to walk to school alone while woo jin would be swooning over han ae-ri. the thought alone made her mad and jealous. 

if she had to be honest, she had liked woo jin for quite a while but she didn't want him to make fun of her once she confessed. she pushed away the feelings for a time being but they never left.

 she was broken out of her thoughts when her phone rang. yuri grabbed the phone from next to her and sighed on finding woo jin's id flashing across the screen. "i don't wanna talk to you." she murmured even though she was dying to hear his voice. she finally gave in and picked up his call. 

"hello." she tried her best to sound upset.

 "yuri! where are you? i'm waiting for you. aren't you ready yet?" she smiled at his concern but didn't let it reflect in her tone. 

"i don't wanna go to school today. just leave alone." yuri answered with a sigh.

 "why?" woo jin sounded worried,"are you okay? are you sick?"

"i'm fine woo jin." yuri stated,"i just don't feel like going to school today."

"yah, you're really going to leave me alone? what about our promise?" woo jin exclaimed.

 "look who's talking." yuri taunted and rolled her eyes,"i'm not coming. bye."

 yuri hung up the call and feeling frustrated, she wanted to scream at woo jin. she heard the sound of faint footsteps and assuming it was her mother, she yelled,"eomma i don't wanna go to- yah, what are you doing here?" 

her eyes widened as woo jin stood by her doorway, already dressed up for school and smirked at her. 

"get up yuri. you're coming with me." he walked over to her and held her hand to pull her up. yuri sat up straight and jerked his hand away before running her hand through her hair.

 "i'm not going woo jin." she spoke sternly. woo jin frowned,"what's wrong with you all of a sudden?"

"can you just leave?" she screamed at him which made woo jin jump slightly on his spot. 

"yuri. . ." he sighed and sat in front of her,"i'm sorry about yesterday. it was an emergency." yuri rolled her eyes at his excuse as he continued,"i'm really sorry. i'll treat you as an apology. forgive me please?"

yuri couldn't help the smile that broke on her lips as she jumped out of the bed,"don't forget about the treat! i'mma go get ready."

 "yah, what a bitch you are." woo jin chuckled as yuri got inside the bathroom to get ready for school.

"i heard that you asked ae ri out?" yuri asked once the two of them had left her house and were on their way to the school. she glanced at woo jin to find his smile dropping all of a sudden. 

"who told you?" he asked instead of answering the question. "joon yeong." yuri answered honestly,"what did she say?"

woo jin sighed deeply,"i really liked her yuri. and i finally mustered up the courage to ask her out yesterday but she turned me down. she said she likes somebody else and i stand no where in the comparison to him."

yuri looked at her side to find woo jin really sad and that made her upset as well. she didn't feel happy that they weren't going out ; she was mad at ae-ri for being so rude for no reason.
