!!ON PAUSE!! In the Future (Heroes of Olympus)

Matt Valdez's POV

So, I gave her the promise ring... I was worried she wouldn't take it. Everything turned out fine though. And Percy likes me, so that's a plus.

I've always had a crush on Bianca since we were little, but I never said anything about it. Now I finally did and it's all ok now.

She came up to me after we got out of our fancy clothes and into pajamas.

"I just really want to thank you for the awesome night we had together. It was amazing. And this promise ring! I can't get over how beautiful it is!" She exclaimed.

"Hey, now you know how I feel looking at you." I said back (nailed it)

"Wow, thank was actually smooth as fuck Matt." she said bluntly, and pulled my face towards hers. She let me linger above her lips for a second, and then pressed her lips on mine. I cupped her chin in my hand, and kissed her back. We broke off the kiss, but only for a second, because Bianca went in for another. Next thing I knew, we were making out on her living room couch. I was just waiting for someone to walk in on us. We stopped though as soon as we heard footsteps coming from the end of the hallway. She hurriedly scrambled off of me and fumbled around for the tv remote. Bianca punched the buttons on the remote and turned on the tv, and snuggled up under my arm to make it look like we had been that way for hours. Shit, she was good at covering up stuff.

I looked to the tv as soon as Annabeth walked out of the hallway. Spongebob Squarepants was playing. We all chuckled as Spongebob was shredding a guitar solo, singing "I'm a Goofy Goober". Man this stuff never gets old...

"So how was tonight?" Annabeth asked, to no one in particular. Bianca responded.

"It was wonderful. Matt took me to a really fancy restaurant and afterwards. he gave me this beautiful promise ring." she said practically shoving her hand in her mom's face. Annabeth admired the ring for a moment, and smiled at me.

"I'm impressed, Matt!" was all that she said, but it was enough for me. "Well I really should be getting to bed now so, I see you guys in the morning! Goodnight everyone."

"'Night mom" Bianca said

"Goodnight Mrs. Jackson" I replied. once she was in bed, we watched more Spongebob.

"I love you Bianca." I said kissing her forehead.

We eventually fell asleep together on the couch. the last thing I remember thinking is, 'Gods, We're gonna pay for falling asleep together'. But whatever. I still have a few hours of shut-eye, so I'm gonna use it while I can.
