Chapter 5: New beginnings and old friends

I heard the news the next day.

Shinichiro was dead.

Kazutora imprisoned.

I couldn't believe what was happening. I didn't want to believe it.

Another one of my friends, no, the family was taken away from me. I just simply couldn't stand it.

The other guys were all calm about it, all but Mikey who seemed to have a deep hatred for Kazutora now.

This divide between my friends broke me, the only good thing was that Kazutora was allowed visitors and he accepted them.

So that's what I was doing, I was visiting him and having a chat telling him about everything that was happening in my life.

The officers in charge of him encouraged me to talk about my life and how I was doing to help Kazutora with his rehabilitation but every chat we had I could just see a darkness in his eyes.

"Yo Kazu, how are you doing today," I exclaimed walking into the visitation room where said boy already sat waiting for me.

"I'm fine, how about you," He muttered in such a low tone that I was lucky to even hear him.

"Dude, you need to speak up ya know."

He looked at me his dandelion yellow eyes staring holes into my head.

"So, Ummm, did you hear," I started knowing that what I was about to say would excite him, "they all forgive you, well ykw (you know who) only partially, but still they're waiting for you now."

He had no chance of expression which disappointed me slightly as this was something I was excited about.

"It's Mikey's fault so I don't care if they forgive me or not I hate them all," He stated eyes filled with hatred.

It upset me to see this divide between my friends to the point where I couldn't bring myself to tell him that the others were starting to harbor negative opinions on me because of the visits I did.

"Well, if you feel that way Kazu I may just have to make this my last proper visit, I already wasted two years of my life trying to visit people here who didn't want to see me I'm not about to do the same thing again," I told him waiting for some sort of reaction to come.

"That's alright," the only response I got from him other than his eyes brimming with betrayal at my words.

"I'll be here when you leave but I won't visit you face to face anymore," I responded, standing and making my way to the door.

"See ya later Kazu,"

Those were my last word to him and before I knew it the normality which was my visitation to prison became toman hangout time.

Toman was wild, there were so many people joining now that divisions were needed.

Baji led the first division and recently he found himself a vice-captain called Matsuno Chifuyu, he's really smart.

Mitsuya leads the second division and is yet to find himself a vice-captain.

Pah-chin leads the 3rd division with his friend Peh-yan they are very chaotic but mean well.

There are two new guys twins, Kawata Nahoya and Souta, they lead the 4th division under the names Smiley and Angry, they are adorable.

The 5th division is under this guy called Mucho who gives me the creeps but at least Sanzu Haruchiyo is his vice-captain, I trust Sanzu very much.
