Willow paced back and forth in the small clearing. Her paws were wet from the dew clinging onto the tall grass. She looked up and saw a formation of geese flying through the blue sky. The sweet, sweet music of leaves blowing in the wind poured through the forest. Willow sighed, her chest heaving in and out. The wind turned towards her, and her hair blew in her face. A leaf flew into her mouth and she spit it out into the ground. Her pacing slowed to a stop, and she sat down on the damp leaves. She blinked when the clouds cleared and the sun shown brightly. Her mouth opened into a yawn and her tongue stuck out of her mouth. She looked around and stuck her nose into the air. Her nose twitched and her eyes grew wide. The bushes on the edge of the clearing rustled and she crouched down in the grass. The rustling continued and two yellow eyes peeked out of the brush. The eyes looked back and forth, then the dark figure stepped out, making the clear shape of a bear. She shuddered and put her tail between her legs, then ran off to hide behind the bushes at the edge of the clearing. The bear walked out into the open and trampled the grass behind it. It lifted its head in the wind and sniffed, obviously smelling Willow. Its head turned her way and a low growl emitted from its throat. Willow looked around frantically as the bear steadily moved towards her. She backed up into the woods and tripped over a rock. She fell and scraped her leg on a sharp piece of rock and yelped. Blood started trickling out of the wound and a roar rang through the forest. Willow knew that the bear was getting closer. She tried to get up, but her injured leg decided against it. The sound of the bear trampling the brush got closer. Willow tried to get up and this time was successful, but she couldn't get to running. The bear got closer, and eventually she could hear the bear breathing down her neck. She turned around and the black figure glared at her. Before she could turn the other way, the bear lashed out at her and everything went black.
