Under The Apple Tree.

The sun shines as bright as always upon a tree. This tree in particular is an apple tree, one of Achilles' favorites.

He comes out here everyday and sits in the cool shade and eats the apples that fall from it.

After his long relaxation, he heard the bells ring, signaling for the warriors to return for training. Yes its true, Achilles is on of the few kids chosen to inherit one of the nine. When the warriors recruitment program first started, over 100 kids joined and now there were only 8.

He stood up and stretched his muscles and then made his way towards across the field.

The warriors were sent on drill of carrying backpacks that contained heavy luggage along with a rifle they would carry. Many of them struggled but most importantly a certain blond haired boy by the name of Reiner Braun.

He struggled to carry his bags as trudged along the muddy trail.
Feeling sorry for the boy, Achilles slowed down and snatched the bag from the boy and slung it over one of his shoulders.

Reiner: H-hey! Achilles, what are you doing!? You'll get in trouble for that!!

Achilles: Oh, it's fine, reiner. I'm sure magath won't care that I'm helping my comerade. After all they trained us in teamwork and comeradery.
And besides, what does this training matter anyway? When we're in titan form all we'll doing is stomping on stuff.

Reiner only looked at the boy confused but somewhat understanding him.

The warriors were now standing in a small stone courtyard with zeke up on a pillar in front of them.

Zeke: just you all wait, 2 years and we'll began the Paradis operation and retake the founding titan.

Reiner: awesome! Once we inherit our titan then the island devils won't know what hit'em!

Porco: huh? What are you so excited for? It's not like your going to inherit a titan.

Reiner: what are you talking about!?

Porco: oh come on, we all know that Achilles helps you with your training. But in the end, the only reason your still here is because of your loyalty to marley. "Don't worry I'll slaughter those island devils for you sir".

Reiner was taken back by the boys remark.

Reiner: what was that?! Are you mocking the mission!? You must be a stray restorationist! I'll report you and have your whole family shipped to Paradis!!

Porco brought his fist back and sent it across reiners face. Reiner fell to the ground holding the spot where he was hit.

Achilles: Porco was that really necessary?

Porco: He's an idiot, Achilles.

Achilles: but your not really all...there either.

Porco: do want one as well, pretty boy!?

Achilles: Dammit calm down will you!?

Porco grabbed the boys collar but Achilles sent his foot up into the boys groin making him kneel in pain.

Porco: you...bastard...

He stood up to go after the boy once more but Marcel stopped him.

Marcel: come on porco, that's enough. We should get going...
