Close Your Eyes pt. 2

He sighs and I scoot up closer to the table. I feel more relaxed and more comfortable with her out of the room.

"Ok, you think you can do this?" "I know I can do this... he doesn't have control over me anymore... I'm with people who can protect me" "Alright, close your eyes and think back to the last time you were with Max" My mind went there. My breathing increases because I'm scared, I'm scared of him.

"Do you see him?" "Yeah" I say. "Where are you guys at?" "Home" "Where is home? What's it look like?" "I can't say" "Why not?" He asks and the vision of Max is telling me, "You tell him, you die! I'll kill your sisters husband, and son right in front of you and her and then her right in front of you!" I squirm in my seat.

"He'll kill us" "Whose us?" "JJ, Will, Henry and I... He said he'll kill Will first, then Henry, then JJ and then me. So that her and I have to watch him kill her family" "Evie, I promise you that nobody will let that happen" "I can't risk that... but I remember once his friend was talking about them hiding out in a cabin"

I reveal, before the vision could tell me anything. "Um, um, it was... it was by the park where we lived in the woods... they said they planned on taking people close to there and killing them. I should have called the police, but I was to scared... Max and his friend would spend every weekend there, it was his dad's"

"Is there any details you can give us about the cabin?" "Uh, it changed every time I went but it was remotely the same I guess... it had been painted on the inside brown, every time there was a different animal fur on the wall, the last time it was a bear. There'd been a welcome mat outside the door, it was brown and white. There was guns there, I was uncomfortable there so I didn't go very often. The room we slept in was white, had memory foam pillows with an awful bed. It was rock hard... I didn't go back because it smelled awful, worse then that room at the house. I always had to go to the upstairs bathroom, never allowed to use the downstairs one... Sometimes I thought I saw blood on the floor and on the wall, but you know we were in the woods I figured it was just from hunting, you know?"

"That's really all I can tell you about the cabin, but our house... I can't tell you where it is, or about the inside of it... but I can tell you the outside of it, and who our neighbors were" He chuckles.

"The outside, it looked just like a normal house, the windows were always clean though, we had a brown door, and in the back, we have a sliding door, it's easy to get in and out of. But there's a lock on it so if it's locked you can't get in or out unless you have the key... Max is the only one who has it. It's a medium size house, not much bigger than the other people's, you know?" "Yeah" "Our neighbors names where, Francis Williams and on the left it was a man named Andrew Nelson, right across from us was a woman her name was Mimi Daniels" "Ok, that's really good, anything else you can remember?" "Oh he has a job!" "Where?" "He's a carpenter"

"Do you know specifically-?" "Let me think... No, I can't remember I don't think he ever told me, I think he just told me that he was a carpenter" "Ok, is there anything else?" "That friend's name... It was Jason Quinn... He's known Max since I can remember" I open my eyes and look around the room in panic.

"Hey, he's not here" "He's not?" "No" I smile. "You did really good, that was absolutely incredible, you gave us a lot of great information" He said as we went to leave the room.

I hug JJ when I saw her standing outside the door.
