Chapter 14

I walked into the hospital room and saw the little girl and boy crying over their sisters not so dead body. She wasn't dead yet at least. I walked over and pulled them into my arms. "sshhh it's ok, everythings fine, I'm going to help your sister but I need you guys to wait outside the door okay. My mate Aidon will wait with you. I promise I'll come get you as soon as possible."

"O-ok just make a-amber better p-please." The boy said talking for the first time.

"I promise little guy."

He nodded his head and grabbed his sisters hand, they walked out of the room together and I sat and watched as they sat on the floor by the door. His sat there and comforted his sister as she cried into his shoulder. I turned to the girl. The boy said he name was amber. Pretty name, she looked just like them blond hair and green eyes. She was gasping for beath covering her throat.

"Don't, it will only get worse the more you move, the rouge injected wolfbane which is silver into your bloodstream I can remove it but you have to stay completely still until I say you can move ok, blink twice if you understand."

She blinked twice and I got to work. I sat down next to her and kissed the palm of my hand. I brought it down to her wound and watched as the silver ran from her wound down to her side, onto the bed and then onto the floor. It doesn't take long to remove it if you moon goddess. Once I finished I wrapped her stomach in gauze and cleaned her face with a washcloth. I smiled as her breathing went back to normal and she said"who are you and where is my family."

"Don't worry, your safe and so are your little brother and sister. You were attacked once you and your family crossed into my territory. I should kill you for tresspassing but I know you mean no harm to me or my pack. I am liladeth, Alpha of the firelight pack and moon goddess. Thats how I cleaned your wound so quickly. Your parents they died protecting you. If you want to say goodbye before they are burried they are outside in the yard. I can take you to them later but right now your siblings are crying their eyes out thinking your dead."

"Can you please get them A-Alpha."

I walked outside and saw half my pack sitting there with a pained look in their eyes seeing this little girl crying her eyes out. both of them looked up at me as I said with a smile. "Would you like to see you sister." They jumped up and ran into the room the whole hall filled with laughter as people thanked me for saving their sister. I went into the room and the site I saw almost made me cry. They were all hugging. "If I may say before tears break out again. This pack is very big, and there is no doubt in my mind you guys would be safe here, so,amber, kids would you like to join the pack." They shook their head like their lives depended on it and jumped into my arms screamed thank you over and over again.

"Um Alpha liladeth. I just want to say thanks. I know you couldn't save our parents but you saved my baby brother and sister and that means alot. It's nice to have an Alpha that cares about us. And thanks for saving me." amber said.

"No promblem amber, I know how it feels to lose a family member let alone three, I could never do that to these kids."

"And thats why I am happy you let us join your pack."

"I'm happy to."
