The Adventures of Coal

Introduction

(Narrator Voice) Ah, the world of Pokémon, where trainer and Pokémon alike work together to accomplish new things, climb new heights, start, and finish adventures, and find many mysteries along the way! A bond between a Pokémon and its trainers goes fathoms deep into their own hearts, going great lengths to being able to fully trust one an another in battle. And speaking of battles, that is where the story begins. A young trainer Jake, and his Pokémon Ninetales. 

"Alright Ninetales, use heat acceleration and avoid that attack!" 

The ninetales (Official name is Coal) used heat acceleration and avoided the Mega Blastoise's Hydro Pump.

 "Ok Blastoise, use Hydro pump again!" 

Coal narrowly avoided it this time, only pausing to use Heat Acceleration again feeling that he was almost about to explode with fire. Now he knew he was ready. He gave his trainer a nod, which Jake understood what it meant. Coal had used heat acceleration the 6th time. 

"Now, join one with me and let's break our limits!" Jake called. Coal and Jakes heart synced, only being able to do this from their long-shared bond since Coal hatched. Coal felt stronger and re-energized from his new ability. 

Their opponent trainer called out to his Blastoise once more "Blastoise, Use Hydro Bombard!" -

"Crap!- " Coal thought to himself. This move had been the very one that KO'd him in one hit last time, even though he was fresh. It was also a very hard move to avoid since it was raining water bombs from the sky. As they fell, Coal focused and knew he had to tome his jumps perfectly, without an ounce of a mistake. He dodged left, then right, constantly moving. Each jump, he felt water soak his fur and evaporate from his own heat. 

Dodging the last bomb, he jumped with extra height, and glanced at his trainer feeling the thoughts of his trainer. Jake gave Coal a slight nod, which was all he needed. He soared through the air, concentrating all his flame into one giant fireball. With the last of his energy, he threw the fireball into the Mega Blastoise. The Blastoise attempted to defend himself with a Hydro Pump, but it was no use. The explosion filled the whole stadium, lasting a long 30 seconds. 

When the smoke and dust cleared just enough to see, the match referee called out "MBlastoise is unable to battle! The winner is Jake and his Ninetales!" 

The crowd roared and cheered Jack's name. Coal simply collapsed, Jack ran over to him and picked coal up hugging him. "This is the best moment of my life! You were my last Pokémon left and I was so nervous, he was fresh I- Thank you so much for this moment." Coal smiled weakly, then close his eyes. Even though that move took all of his strength, To see jack happy like this, with the joy and pride in his eyes, he was content with the effort and strength that it took to win, and have his trainer champion of the Myth Region.
