Coal woke to a thunder crash. Blinking, he winced at the pain in his back. Looking around, he saw he was on a couch, and somebody had already bandaged his various scratches.

"Flame?" he quietly called out, only to realize that he was alone. Looking around at the room, he noticed the fireplace that was actively burning, several bookshelves filled with books, and a blue rug on the floor on brown hard wood. Though, looking around only reminded him of his growing headache.

"F-Feather?" Coal called out to his other friend, with still no response.

Suddenly, a voice sounded from the edge of the room "They're sleeping". Coal tried to look around but still couldn't see anyone.

"Who are you? Where am I?" he asked.

"My name is snow" the stranger replied.

"That's a nice name, but who are-" stopping mid-sentence because the stranger walked around the corner, with brilliant White-Blue fur.

"Wow... She's beautiful" Coal thought at first sight, "but then, that bow seems familiar

"I was hoping that you woke soon, because I was afraid I would have to take you to a hospital." Snow said quietly.

"Well, I'm glad I didn't have to go. But who bandaged me? And where am I?" Coal asked.

"You are in my house, I bandaged you, and invited your friends to stay." Snow replied.

Coal was a bit bewildered and was kind of curious. "Why?" he asked.

Snow looked back at him instead of the fire and spoke quietly again. "Well, you saved my niece, you helped stop an attack at my home village, and alerted the police before it started. If you weren't there today, my... my niece would have died, and probably a lot more would have died to that second Hydreigon. So, doing the most civil thing I could possibly do, I invited you to stay the night" she finished, sounding matter of fact.

"well.. t-thank you for your kindness, I really appreciate it." Coal responded.

"Well, it was the least I could do. Oh, um.. I just wanna let you know that the local authorities, like the people in charge of our police department, asked if they could talk to you.. earlier today." Snow said, looking back at the fire.

"What did they want? When will they be back?" Coal questioned.

"They said they'll be back in the morning." responded Snow.

"Well, what time is it now?" coal asked, mainly because his watch was broken, and the only way to get it fixed was to travel 1,500 miles south.

"it is currently 4:30 in the morning" Snow replied.

Coal sighed, then complained "That stinks, it's 4:30 and I'm going to find it hard to sleep."

"Why is that? I am surprised your not still tired though, you slept for somewhere around 10 hours." Snow asked.

Coal sighed again, then replied "Well, I have a migraine right now."

Snow looked back at coal, "It was that move you used, wasn't it? You....mimicked the Hydreigon's attack..." Coal looked away then things went silent between the two of them for a brief moment. "That's.. that's what they asked about, well..I.. I told them I didn't see it."

"How did they know I even used it?" coal asked back.

"Someone saw you use it." Snow replied. "it shouldn't even matter though  everyone was safe on that side of town because of you, so that's always a positive, It shouldn't matter how it got done." Snow said firmly.
