Chapter 1

Extremely late update but hope you all enjoy it. 

Author's Point Of View~

Three months have passed since Sushant and Shrenu moved to Seoul and began the new academic year there. Seokjin and Sushant attend an all-boys school, whereas Shrenu attends a kindergarten in the area. The Singhania family moved from their 2 bedroom apartment into their home in Hannam-dong 2 months prior. 3 days from now, the youngest child will turn six months old and there are no major plans. As Seokjin became very fond of Khushi, the Kim family will be here for the day because Khushi feels a deep bond with Seokjin, even though she is still very young. Sometimes even Sushant would get jealous and tell Seokjin off but Seokjin always retaliated by saying "Deal with it Sweety loves me more."

Today Sudesh's parents are arriving in Seoul to spent time with their grandchildren, son and daughter in law. Sudesh and Sejoon are on their way to the airport, while Yejin and Preeta are preparing for the guests at home.
Kim and Singhania became very close in 1 and a half years and became like family to each other.

They wait at the arrivals section of the airport for Sudesh's parents, once they arrive he waves his hands in an attempt to attract their attention.

When he reaches down to touch his parents' feet and then hugs them both, he says, "Ma, Baba.".

He hears his mother say, "Mera beta." with tears in her eyes while she caresses his face. While his father looks on with affection.

"Ma, Baba, this is Sejoon, he owns the hotel chain that our construction company builds most of his ventures for." Sudesh introduces Sejoon to his parents.

"Uhm... Namaste." Sejoon says with his hands folded and then also reaches down to receive blessings.

The parents of Sudesh were relieved to know their son is thriving in South Korea and has made an amazing friend.

As Sejoon reaches down Sudesh's mother stops him and embraces him and says "Thank you for taking good care of my son beta." To which Sudesh smiles and translates what his mother said to Sejoon.

As soon as they left the airport, it took them about an hour to reach Sudesh's home. Upon reaching his home, everyone was already outside.

After exiting the vehicle, Sudesh's parents made their way to the front door where Yejin, Preeta, and the kids were waiting. Preeta is carrying Khushi and Sudesh's mother takes the little girl from Preeta's arms into her own. once greetings and introductions were done everyone enter the house and lunch is set up.

Soon the evening arrives, and the Kims leave.

Sudesh and Preeta assist his parents in settling in since they will be staying for 6 months until Khushi turns one year old.

Those five days have gone by in a flash, and today Khushi is honoured with a small celebration.

In Khushi's nursery, she is in her bassinet when suddenly her door is gently but quickly opened to reveal a very excited 8-year-old. He rushed into the room and went up to the bassinet and his left-hand grasps onto the railing of the bassinet. Looking down at the little girl playing by her herself and looking at her made him smile even more.

"Sweety look who's here, your Jinnie Oppa!" he says.

He said while he lets his right hand into the bassinet and used his index finger to stroke her cheek which starts giggling at and wraps her teeny tiny hands around his finger and puts it in her mouth.

"Nuh ah does Oppa's finger look like food. Noooo.... right so don't put Oppa's finger in your mouth okay." He says ever so gentle to the tiny being who giggled not understanding a word. Still holding onto his index finger but now it is not in her mouth she began wiggling it from side to side in her tiny hand causing him to laugh in amusement and this made her smile even more.
