Hange's legs carried them at a quick pace towards Yelena. They acquired a seemingly defensive stance; Their hands sprung out in front of them, as though to prevent Yelena from taking any further steps. Hange's brown pupils went dull, and their eyelids seemed to shrink as their eyes widened out of shock.
Hange approached Yelena, ready to try and deflect whatever it was that she saw. But instead of speaking to them, Yelena simply walked past them. She walked away from Hange with almost no hesitation, as though she didn't even notice that Hange was there.
Hange flinched, realizing that Yelena had left them behind. Their body jolted and turned around to face her once more. You weren't sure if Hange was scared, nervous, or shocked, but something about Yelena avoiding Hange caused them to grow concerned.
