Juliet wiped down the counter, across from her regulars. They were talking with her, all of them smiling and laughing.

"Oh no no," Juliet smiled widely, tossing the rag in the sink. "No one wants to date me-"

"Hey Juliet!" Another regular walked in from outside. "Is this your dog?"

Juliet walked around the counter, a frown on her face as she saw the Doberman. "No, I don't have a Doberman."

"I found this guy just wandering around outside." The man looked down at the dog. "I'll just bring him to the pound-"

"I'll just bring him to the pound-"

"No," Juliet walked over to him, taking the leash from him. "I'll keep him in here from the cold. Someone ought to come in looking for him." She smiled. "My bakery is on the corner of the street anyways. Someone will look for him."

"Alright, well I'm gonna go Miss Juliet." The regular tipped his hat to her. "My daughter got her ballet performance."

"Congratulate her for me." Juliet waved as he left, the man leaving with a smile.

"What kind of dog is that?" Mr. Park asked, his cane resting beside him.

"A Doberman." Juliet smiled, grabbing a cushion from the bin, walking back around the counter.

"Don't those dogs have pointy ears?" Mr. Park frowned, sipping his black coffee.

"And no tail?" Mrs. Park added, sitting right beside her husband.

"Normally," Juliet explained, setting the cushion down and letting the dog sit on it. "But I guess the owner of this fellow wanted his dog with no altercations." Juliet crouched down, looking at the dog's collar. "Well you look like a puppy." She smiled, letting the dog smell her hand and lick her. "I'm sure you smell my puppies on me." Juliet giggled as the puppy jumped on her, causing her to fall on her butt.

'Hi Miss! You smell really nice! I wanted to lick you I want to taste what you smell like! Are you nice! You're definitely nice! My papa is really nice! I love my papa but I don't know where he is! He told this other boy to walk me and now I'm here! I was looking for my papa you know but you're really nice too!' The Doberman barked excitedly, telling Juliet all about himself. 'My name is Bam! What about you?'
