"Okay Bam," Jungkook sighed, getting out of his car. "Make sure you smile at her so she can see your pretty teeth." 'And so she knows I take good care of you.'

'Papa you're in loveeeee.' Bam teased his dad, walking happily beside his father. 'I hope she gives me treats again!'

Jungkook walked into the bakery, that bell ringing again as he made eye contact with the girl behind the counter. Jungkook looked down, walking to her, keeping his eyes on Bam.

'That's not Juliet.' Jungkook swallowed, looking up at the girl through his sunglasses. "Hi, can I have a blueberry muffin and an iced coffee please."

"What size?" She smiled, typing in his order.

"Large."

"Flavor?"

"Mocha."

"Milk?"

"Oat."

"Alright," She smiled up at him. "That'll be 9 even."

Jungkook gave her the exact change, trying to smile beneath his mask. But she wasn't who he wanted to see. "Thank you."

The girl noticed he was new. "You can sit wherever you want and we'll bring your items out to you."

"Oh, thank you." Jungkook bowed his head, immediately going to the little booth in the corner of the room.

"Hey," Juliet walked out from the back room. "Ready to switch?"

"Yeppers." The employee high-fived Juliet as she went to the back, Juliet reading over the newest receipt. Her eyes scanned the room, looking for the person without-

"Bam?" Juliet mumbled, squinting to the corner of the room. Juliet smiled, "He came back." Juliet looked back down at Jungkook's order, her heart skipping a beat as she saw the muffin. 'No one ever buys those.'

Juliet looked down at her watch, this a very slow time for the bakery. She grinned, walking over to him and Bam.

"I guess she doesn't work today Little Man." Jungkook ruffled Bam's head, his dog sitting beside him in the booth. His coffee and muffin were sat in front of him, Jungkook looking up. "Oh thank-"

"What's your favorite color?" Juliet beamed, sitting across from him in the booth.

"U-Uh." Jungkook blinked a few times, fighting the urge to take his sunglasses off. "Purple or black I guess."

"Awh, purple is cute." Juliet smiled, crossing her arms. "It's nice to see you again."

"I didn't think you were here today." Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle, looking over at the counter. "You weren't there."

"I make the food here too." Juliet waved at Bam, the puppy trying to climb onto the counter to get to her. "Can I hold him?"

'Papa it's the Miss!!' Bam wagged his tail excitedly, Jungkook picking him up and handing him to Juliet. 'Hi Miss! Remember me?'

Juliet giggled as Bam licked her face, tickling Bam's stomach as she held him like a baby. "You're as energetic as ever."

Jungkook put his elbows on the table and held up his chin, staring at Juliet. She loves dogs-

"Wanna see my puppies?" Juliet pulled out her phone, smiling at Jungkook.

"Oh yeah!" Jungkook nodded, scooting forward as he ignored his phone buzzing against his pocket.

"This is Liam," Juliet pointed to the bigger black lab. "And that is Louie." Juliet smiled wider as Jungkook 'awhed.' "They're brothers."

"They're adorable!" Jungkook pointed at the cat in the background. "And a cat as well?"

"That's Mallie." Juliet looked down at her photo, love in her eyes. "My sweet girl."

"What a cute family." Jungkook sat back, taking a sip of his coffee. The two of them made eye contact, Juliet's face going red. Well, redder than before. "Juliet-"

"Hm?" She responded immediately, silently hoping he'll say her name again.

"If you don't mind me asking, but what happened to your face?" Jungkook touched his own cheek, Juliet swallowing. "I-I don't mean to intrude, but it looks very painful."

"Yeah, yesterday some jerk came in, yelled at me because of my eyes and spat his hot coffee on me." Juliet shrugged, crossing her legs as she sat back in the booth, Bam in her lap. "It burned me a little, but it should be gone in a day or two."

"H-He was... He yelled at you because of your eyes?" Jungkook frowned, leaning forward, immediately upset.

"It happens a lot." Juliet took a deep breath, looking back up at him. "Don't like showing off your eyes either?" She smiled slightly, Jungkook realizing she was talking about his sunglasses. He glanced to the right, noticing only two older men in the bakery.

"I forgot I had them on." He lied, taking them off. "Better?" Jungkook asked, making eye contact with her.

"Yes," She whispered, rubbing Bam's back. "My dogs weren't so happy yesterday because of you." Juliet teased Bam, the dog staring up at her. "You smell different than them."

'I knew I smelled other dogs than you!' Bam barked, trying to give Juliet a hug. 'That sucks for them!'

Juliet giggled, looking back up at Jungkook. She caught him staring at her. "What?" Juliet laughed, Jungkook's eyes widening as he sat back.

"Nothing nothing." He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to find an excuse. But when he couldn't figure one out, he just told her the truth. "I just really like your eyes."

Juliet's heart skipped a beat.

The door's bell rang, a big group of middle schoolers walking in, laughing and talking loudly.

"Shit." Juliet whispered, about to stand up, but froze. "Give me your hand."

Jungkook did as told, Juliet pulling a pen out of her pocket, taking the cap off with her teeth. Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest, staring at her as she wrote something on his hand, looking so, mesmerizing. The sun soaking through her dirty blonde hair, making her dim locks even more golden.

"Text me?" She smiled, handing Bam back to Jungkook.

Jungkook only stared, Juliet walking off, her number on his hand. Jungkook looked down at it, seeing the heart beside the numbers. He held it tightly to his chest, smiling like an idiot.

After all the middle schoolers got their orders in and the place had finally calmed down, Juliet looked back at Jungkook's booth, seeing it empty. But when she checked her phone...

"LOOK!" Jungkook screeched as he ran into the practice room, holding his wrist, his palm out to the members. "Look look look look look look look!"

Jimin gasped loudly, pushing Taehyung away from him (his stretching partner) and grabbed Jungkook's hand. "It's her number??"

Jungkook nodded excitedly, Jimin laughed as he patted Jungkook's back.

"Woah woah woah." Jin held out his hands, Jungkook still doing a little happy dance. "Who's number and why is it a girl?"

"It's his bell-mate!" Jimin explained in a non-helpful way, Jungkook nodding.

"His what?" Yoongi couldn't help but laugh.

"Bells rang, hyung!" Jungkook shook Yoongi's shoulders, Yoongi flopping his body around with his shakes. "Right out of a movie!"

"Oh no." Namjoon put his face in his hand, Jungkook giggling.

"Oh yes!" Jungkook did a spin, showing Hoseok his hand.

"SHE DREW A HEART??"
