"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP", alarm clocks are always pretty annoying. I usually hit the snooze button, but today was special.

Today, I was going on a school trip to the White House. We would get see all the bells and whistles, I couldn't wait.

I hopped out of bed, and undressed myself as I ran to the shower. I hopped in, washed quickly, and hopped out again.

I poured a bowl of frosted flakes, and ran outside to the school bus. I sat in the front by myself, as always. To be honest, I don't really have many friends.

People always made fun of me because I had a strong belief in zombies. They have to exist, the zombie apochalypse is right around the corner.

I aren't as obsessed now as I was before, but I still had no friends. I didn't mind though, as I find the human race cold-hearted and greedy.

Sorry, I do this too often. I often hate the human race, earth, etc. It's just who I am.

When we pulled up at school, I ran straight to the next bus. I got on and had to sit next to Deryn Timps, a football jock, because the bus iwas full. This should be fun.

For the first ten minutes, he just get punching my shoulder. Luckily, I showed no emotion so he left me alone.

I think I fell asleep, because the next thing I remember, I could see the Washington Monument!

I pressed my nose to the window, and looked at DC. It was as beautiful as I had imagined.

That was when I first realized I was entering the heart of America. I had little idea that it was about to stop besting.
