I stood there standing at the Washington Monument. I could stand there for hours, it was just so beautiful. I wonder if my class likes it?

I turned around and everyone was gone. I'm not sure if they purposely abandoned me, or accidently left me behind. Either or, I am alone in a new city.

There has to be somewhere I can go to find them, it's not THAT big of a city. I just need to get somewhere high enough. Like the Washington Monument.

It's too bad that,s not a possibily. It's closed for renovation or something. Right now that's the only option so I think I might climb it.

I'm insane. The mere fact that I was actually searching for a grappling hook makes me question my sanity.

The only grappling hook in town is the awesome one in the Smithsonian. But of course, I'm insane and i just broke the glass.

I ran as fast as I could back to the monument. It isn't easy to run when the SWAT team is rapidly firing at you. I honestly wonder what is possessing me.

The bullets are the least of my concerns, as of now I am climbing the Washington Monument. I don't even have a fear of heights, and I am about to pee my pants.

I could almost see the top, when I noticed the bleeding. I was bleeding from head to toe, and the rain wasnt helping.

Larry's POV.

I stood there watching Connal struggle to climb the Washington Monument. He seemed to be bleeding dangerously.

The rain coming from the sky seems really odd too. It seems kind of greenish, and many umbrellas seemed to be leaking.

Someone screamed, " Acid Rain " and the chaos emerged. I have never seen such ceaziness. Even the SWAT team seemed alarmed.

Connal got to the top, and I felt almost proud of him for getting to the top. Why was he even up there?

Connals POV

The town seemed to be panicking. I was no longer the center of commotion. They seemed afraid of the rain. I looked around and saw that my bus was already out of town.

A helicopter came my way, and I assumed that they were my rescue. It seemed to take a few hours to get up, and I was feeling strange.

I felt my eyes slowly close, and my brain shut down. I threw my hand on my heart and felt no pulse. I remember falling, and nothing more
