Her p.o.v.
I was done. I have been at the orphanage since I was 4. I hardly remember my parents. I am now 12 and hate my life. I have been refused by yet another family. This family refusing me I took harder then usual though probably because their videos are what I remained living for so when they refused me I was done. Yes I was done living.Phil's p.o.v.
Me and Dan were guided upstairs. We were so excited. We had chosen our little girl. True she wasn't so little she was 12 but she would be our daughter making her our little darling." BANG "
"What was that!" I heard Dan say as we rushed in the room. We both gasped at what we saw but when I was frozen in shock Dan rushed into action. There hanging from the ceiling was our newly adopted daughter. Lucky Dan got her down in time she was still conscious. Thank god. Snapping out of my trance I ran over to the bed where Dan laid down our new daughter and helped Dan comfort her.
Dans p.o.v.
"Sh. Sh. Calm down try to rest close your eyes." I smiled at her and she quickly fell asleep. Once she was asleep Phil and I started to pack her stuff ignoring anything she could use to endanger and harm herself.Phil lifted her and carried her to the car and we drove to the ER to have her checked for injuries. It was a fairly quick appointment she was just fine.
When we got home she had woken up( she fell asleep in the car after the appointment). We showed her to her room and I realized we didn't know her name.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"I don't have one they always just called me Jane Doe but you can name me. I would love a real one!" she answered in the cutest voice. It was the first time shed spoken since we met her.
"How do you like the name Lexi?" Phil and I asked in unison.
