Lexi's pov
I ran. I ran and I just kept running. I could hear my dad calling for me but I didn't care. I needed to get away. I couldn't believe it. I was given a second chance and once again I messed it up. They were right. Everyone. All the kids at the orphanag. Everyone I grew up with. They were all right I'm just a failure.
"LEXI STOP IT!" Dan cought up to me.
(An: I'll continue writing into this but considering how long ago my last update was I wanted to give you this as soon as possible) (an: uhhhh soooo yeah I honestly just entirely forgot about it) he grabbed my and pulled me in for a hug and I cried into his shoulder then (I'm gonna do no editing on this btw maybe you'll get some in like three years) he took me back to the house and Phil who was crying on the living room couch he must of ended the live show cause the laptop was closed I knew they were going to send me back there's no getting out of it.
"I-I'm sorry y-you can take me back now." I started swiftly tears falling.
"No. We aren't taking you back. Go to your room and lay down for a bit okay?" Phil said to my surprise and I did as he said.
Dans p.o.v.
I watched Lexi until she shut her door then turned to my husband "hey." I said to him.
"Don't hey me. You didn't tell me! Did you even plan on telling me!?" He shouted. I swallowed I should've told him he's her father to.
"You're Right. I should've told you. But I didn't want you to worry." I responded.
"Yeah! You should've!" He yelled then sighed. "You're on the couch tonight." He then walked to lexis room.
Lexi's pov
"Hey honey." Phil said entering my room I myself was sprawled across my bed.
"I'm sorry." I choked out.
"You have nothing to be sorry for." He didn't give me time to respond. "How you feeling?"
"Good I guess." I answered him. He smiled sweetly at me then bent down and kissed my forehead.
"Okay try to get some sleep darling." And with that he left the room.
