"good luck baby and have fun,"

y/n absolutely adored her girlfriend. she was so in love with every aspect of the woman and she would do absolutely anything for her.

today was her girlfriend's final archery tournament that would be the determining factor of whether or
not she would make the national team. y/n was so
immensely proud of all the hard work and dedication her girlfriend had put into her passion.

it also helped that seeing her shoot a bow and arrow was incredibly sexy.

y/n decided, being the amazing girlfriend she is, to decorate their shared apartment to honor and celebrate the girl. whether or not she made the team wasn't a concern of y/n's, she knew the girl was super talented and would make it very far in life with archery.

as soon as her girlfriend left their apartment, y/n got
to work tidying up their space. the "theme" for the celebration was a sleepover, being that hari had always wanted to have one when she was younger.

she didn't have many friends growing up, especially when being so devoted to a sport that took up a lot of her time.

y/n set up the living room with a table full of hari's favorite snacks, a karaoke machine and a fort that took her way too long to put together. the inside of the fort had pillows for them to lay down and cuddle while watching movies, as well as fairy lights along the top of the fort.

after taking forever to set everything up, y/n took a quick shower and changed into the matching pajama set she got for her and hari. by the time y/n was done, she received a text from her girlfriend letting her know she was on her way home.

y/n sat in their room, waiting to hear the door open, as she scrolled through her phone to fill her boredom.

the sound of the door unlocking made y/n jump up from the bed and run over to the front door. she saw hari with a slightly sad look on her face, before she turned around and noticed the decorated living room. she furrowed her brows, looking over to y/n who had a large grin on her face.

"what's all this for?" hari asked, trying to hold back a smile. "well i just wanted to celebrate you and let you know how proud i was of you, so i decided to throw you a sleepover! just minus other girls," y/n said, looking in hari's eyes for approval.

"but y/n i didn't-"

"eh eh eh, this is to celebrate you baby, if we need to throw another celebration afterwards we can do that, but today's just about you and showing my appreciation for you," y/n cuts her off, walking up to hari and giving her a tight hug.

hari immediately relaxes in the girl's arms, squeezing her back just as tight. "my sweet sweet girl, thank you," she says, as y/n removes her head from the crook of hari's neck and grins up at her. "anything for you," y/n says, placing a peck on the girl's lips.

"you even got my favorite snacks! oh my gosh i love you baby," hari says, gushing at the snack table and quilt fort. "i love you too, now come change into your pjs and we can get this night started," y/n says, grabbing her girlfriend's hand and leading her to the room.

hari quickly gets changed into the matching pajamas and tells y/n she wants to do a face mask, so they venture into the bathroom. "this is so relaxing," hari says, sitting on the countertop while y/n applys the sheet mask to her face.

"my turn," y/n says, as she switches places and allows hari to apply her facemask. "you're right, this is very relaxing, i could fall asleep," she says, making hari giggle and pretend to shake the girl awake.

"cmon let me take a picture of us,"

"you're so cute," hari says, wrapping her arms around y/n's shoulders from behind as they look at the photo. "i could say the same to you,"

after removing the face masks, the two head back to the living room for the rest of the night. they blast the instrumentals to their favorite songs and sing loudly on the karaoke machine, surprised they didn't get a noise complaint from their neighbors.

next they played a classic board game, monopoly. after hari wins, y/n huffs and throws the pieces off the board, which hari thought was hilarious. the two laughed until tears came out and they couldn't breathe.

finally, it was time to watch some movies. they started with the kingsman franchise, being that both girls loved the fast action and gore the movies provided. while watching, the two argued over hogging certain snacks and shushing each other when one would talk over an important part.

to end their night, they watched a random romantic comedy they found on netflix, and laid down in their fort. hari opened up her arms and y/n immediately crawled into them, snuggling her head onto hari's chest and intertwining their legs.

"i didn't make the national team,"

y/n turns her head to look at the girl, sighing and rubbing the girl's arm in a comforting way. "i'm sorry baby i know how much that meant to you,"

"it's okay, i mean maybe it won't be okay like tomorrow but for now it's okay," hari says giggling, as y/n smiles sadly. "you know you're still amazing right? i know that this was really important to you and would've been a great achievement but you're still gonna do great things in life. you're incredibly talented hari and anybody with a brain would know that from the moment they see you out there. besides, it's the team's loss, they don't get to see how sexy you look when you're holding that bow,"

hari laughs with tears in her eyes, as y/n grins at the girl. "you know this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me, you're literally an angel on this earth," hari says, leaning down to leave kisses all over her girlfriend's face. "i love you so much,"

"i love you too my katniss,"
