FADE IN:
INT. AMUSEMENT PARK, GIFT STORE – AFTERNOON:
Se Young drags a reluctant Y/n in to the store.
Y/N: We came here for the rides, not shopping.
She sulks.
SE YOUNG: I know, but we had lunch just now and I don't want to puke it all out.
She smiles at Y/n.
SE YOUNG: You can buy some nick knacks to decorate your new room.
Y/n looks around the store.
Y/N: I do need an alarm clock... and photo frames.
SE YOUNG: Great. I've to make a call. I'll join you in a few.
Y/n nods and watches Se Young walk out of the store. She walks through the aisle looking at the displays.
I'm shopping for my own room – Y/n beams.
Y/N: Excuse me.
She addresses the store assistant stacking the mugs on the rack. His face is covered with a white mask, like everyone else around, thanks to Covid 19.
Y/N: I'm looking for alarm clocks.
JK - she reads his name tag.
JK: It's on the shelf ahead.
He points to the front of the aisle.
Y/N: Thanks
She smiles through her mask and walks past him. JK turns back to his work.
Y/n runs her fingers on the shiny clocks as appa's voice plays in her head.
APPA: Are you moving out because you want to have boyfriends? I have no problem with that, you can have all the boyfriends you want, I won't object. Promise.
Y/n picks up a winding clock and turns the dial. - No, it's not because I wanted a boyfriend. All I did was survive for 20 years. I don't know how long I'll live but I don't want to survive, I want to thrive. I want to live without fear, just like Se Young Unnie.

MEANWHILE:
EXT. AMUSEMENT PARK, OUTSIDE THE GIFT STORE:
Se Young looks around the park – something's not right. She takes out her phone, still no signal. She slides in a tiny Bluetooth earpiece into her right ear and clicks on it. She waits till she hears the familiar click.
SE YOUNG: Chan, I'm expecting company.
CHAN: How long do we have?
SE YOUNG: Not long, the phones are already down, so is the internet.
Se Young looks back at the gift store.
SE YOUNG: I need help here.
CHAN: I might take a while.
SE YOUNG: Just get here.
She clicks on the earpiece and walks back into the store.
CUT TO:
INT. AMUSEMENT PAR, GIFT STORE:
Y/n hates all the clocks displayed on the shelf.
Y/N: Okay, let's move on to the photo frames.
