FADE IN:
INT. VAN – LATE AFTERNOON
Everyone braces themselves as the truck hurls at them.
MI DO: What the-
Her jaw drops, seeing the truck suddenly skid sideways, away from them, and crashing into the coffee shop.
Y/N: How?...
HAN: Daebak.
JK looks out the window and sighs – the zombies are still here.
He is surprised as none of them approach the van. He turns to tell Mi Do, but stops mid turn, as something bright catches his eye.
JK: What is that?
He points to a Wall of Light growing out from a distance, engulfing the city under it.
Chan and Se Young's eyes touch, just for a moment. In a few seconds the wall of light hits the van, flooding it with bright white light. Y/n buries her head in her lap trying to block out the light, but the insides of her eye lids are still lit up. The wall of light eventually passes over the van and continues stretching outward.
Se Young gets off her seat and checks on Y/n.
SE YOUNG: You, okay?
She blinks slowly waiting for her to stop seeing the after images of the light, as her friend's face comes into focus.
Y/N: I'm okay. Are you?
She runs her eyes over Se Young, she looks fine too.
SE YOUNG: Everyone, okay?
She looks at Mi Do, JK and Han. They all seem to be fine.
HAN: What just happened?
Y/n gasps making Mi Do and Han flinch.
MI DO: What?
Y/N: Was it a nuclear explosion?
Chan and Se Young look out the window.
MI DO: No way...
She looks around hoping she's right.
HAN: We did not hear any explosion so...
JK: Where did they go?
He's stares out the window.
HAN: Who?
JK: The zombies...
They all lookout their windows.
Y/N: Where are they?
The street outside has just people walking about, just regular people, no zombies.
HAN: I think we can go ou-
It is open, Se Young has stepped out, so have, Y/n and Chan.
HAN: Why did th-
JK and Mi Do step out too.
HAN: Wait for me.
CUT TO:
EXT. STREET – LATE EVENING
He joins them outside to see the people around act like nothing happened.
Y/n, separates from the group and walks toward the multi-car pileup in front. She looks inside the cars. - Where are the people who were trapped in here?
