The carnivals were one of Emma favourite events. She loved going on the rides along with playing the carnival games. Emma managed to win a big stuffed bear while Rue didn't win anything. Lexi and Gia were with them. Unfortunately Jules didn't join them tonight, Emma questioned Rue why Jules wasn't here with her, but she didn't give much of an answer to her. It didn't take long to realise that they must of had an argument, not only was she avoiding Jules, but she was not talking to Fezco either. It was obvious why they weren't talking, if anything, she applauded Fezco for not giving anything to her.

The four girls were deciding on what ride to go on next. A few metres near them was the pretzel stand where Fez and Ashtray were getting ready to serve customers. However if anyone knew Fezco and Ashtray, they know they weren't selling pretzels.

The four girls were waiting around the Ferris Wheel.
"Rue you want to go on here? Rue? Rue!" Emma repeating her name trying to get her attention. She looked to see where Rue was looking at only to find Jules staring right back at Rue. Both the girls went to each other and squeezed each other in a hug.

"I think she's in love with her, as in Rue is in love with Jules." Gia said to Lexi.

"Really?" Lexi said in surprised, she looked at Emma for confirmation in which she only nodded back.

"It's obvious she is." Emma added, only confusing Lexi more.

"Alright we'll I'm gonna catch up with some friends." Gia said. Lexi and Emma saying goodbye to her as they still were watching Jules and Rue make up.

"I think I'm going to get some chilli, Lexi do you wanna come with me?" Emma asked.

"I'm good, you go ahead though, I'll catch up later." Lexi said. Emma didn't object, she left to go find the Chilli stand. Making her way down the carnival she noticed a familiar man laying against the pole with a cigarette in his mouth.

"Fez?" Emma called out, he turned his head and made eye contact with the Hazel eyed girl.

"Hey, you having a good time tonight Emma?" He asked curiously, trying to contain the happiness of seeing his favourite bookworm.

"Yeah, I was about to head to the chilli stand, I was craving for that. I'm guessing you selling some stuff?" She asked walking closely to him.

"Yeah, by at the pretzel stand. Have you seen Rue recently?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah, I'm not apologising for her, but she was just having tough day that day. But thank you for not giving her those drugs, it would be the last thing to help her." She said smiling at him.

"Yeah don't worry, I don't take anything personal to what a drug addict says. But as a friend, you gotta do what's best you know." He said chucking his cigarette away.

"Yeah, oh and your green sweater, I didn't realise you would be here tonight, I'll bring it next time we see each other." She said remembering about the sweater that he gave to her a few weeks ago.

"I gotta a lot of them back at home so you can keep it. I really don't need it back." Fez said kindly to her. Hearing that made Emma happy, she was kind of hoping that he said no.

"Well I'll let you too it, have a nice night." Fez greeting her goodbye.

"You know what I don't think I'm feeling for Chilli anymore. Is it alright if I stay with you?" She asked. She looked so innocent, her smile contagious with those eyes glowing so bright in the dark.

"I could use the company." Fez shrugged, they walked to sit down at the nearest bench.

The pair didn't seem to be keeping track of time, not realising that it was getting close to ten o'clock. She watched a few people asking Fez where 'Molly' was. He would give them their ticket and tell them to go to the pretzel stand.

"Rue told me your birthday was coming up." Fez said as he lit another cigarette blowing it in his mouth.

"So you still talking about me to Rue?" She asked interested.

"Same way you talk about me to her." Fez said watching the girls smirk drop. This time it was Fez's turn to smirk. Emma stuttered, unsure of what to say next.

"I was curious. You were the first person to ever take notice in me. That really hasn't happened before." Emma said looking at her shoes.

"You and me both. Only time people were interested in me is when I have supplies in stock. When I'm out, everyone doesn't know me." Taking another blow on the cigarette.

"It must be lonely, just you and your brother together or not being able to live your life free, or atleast able to have a conversation without the word drugs coming up every five seconds." She makes eye contact with Fez as his piercing blue eyes looks back at her.

"It's always the conversations like this I never forget you know. You see me as a different person, I just wish everyone else sees me the way that you do." He said smiling at her.

"You are more than what you think you are." Emma starts scooting closer to Fezco. He notices and lets her. The pair didn't say anything else to each other, both of them staring at each other. They both didn't realise their face was moving closer to each other, just inches away from each other until their lips connected. the kiss lasted for only a few seconds. She pulled back quickly realising what she did.

"I'm so sorry, fuck, I didn't mean to do that." Emma started to panic, she got up and packed up her handbag, getting ready to leave.

Fuck Fuck Fuck She thought to herself. Emma started to second guess everything, worry that she was misreading the signs, perhaps he wasn't into her like that or he only respected her as Rues friend. She ignored Fez's shout to tell her to turn around. She was too embarrassed to look at him.

Emma walked all the way home, she thought walking would clear her head but no, the scene repeatedly kept playing in her head.

She jumped into bed, wallowed into self pity and tried to forget what happened. Her phone kept going off but she didn't care who was trying to contact her. She will just deal with it in the morning.

"Fuck." Emma mutters while looking at the ceiling.
