It's been a month since I moved here. Class is yet to start. But I decided, moving here early will be great for me settle down. Everything is perfect and fine. I got a room of my own, like I have wanted. I have always hated sharing rooms. So, I was scared that, I wouldn't get a room for myself. But, thanks to my Mom. She always has her ways. She managed a room for me. It is a bit small for me, but manageable.

So, everything was going perfectly fine, in my dull life, until I heard it one day.

I was studying. I wanted to get as much studying done as possible. Suddenly, I heard some noises. At first, it sounded like arguments. Like someone was talking harshly in a low tone. But, as I tried listening to it more, it started sounding like a song.

A song?

I looked at the clock. Midnight! Why would anyone play songs at 12? The songs seemed really known, but I couldn't quiet understand what songs they were. It seemed English at first. But soon, I started feeling like, it's in a different language.

The sound was not too loud, but I couldn't concentrate after that. It kept breaking my concentration. And it is somewhat annoying. Like, not too loud, but irritating. Irritating, like scratching on wall or steel.

The next day, the sound started again. i realized, it was coming from the house next door. So, I tried closing the window, but it didn't work. The sound kept irritating me.

And the next day again.

And the next day.

It continued for almost 2 weeks, and I couldn't take it anymore. This annoyingly irritating sound is taking a toll on me. I can't study, I can't sleep, I can't even concentrate properly! God! There's a limit to everything!

So, I opened my window today, when the sound started.

" Excuse me? Excuse me? Anybody there?" I yelled.

No answer.

"Excuse me!!!!!"

The sound immediately stopped. And I heard footsteps. It's getting louder.

Finally, the heavy black curtain from the window next door, moved a bit. A pair of eyes stared at me for a while.

Then, he moved the curtain more, and stood straight.

He....is huge......Was the first thought that crossed my mind. My eyes, automatically went down to his well built chest, that is quiet apparent because of the fitting white t-shirt, he wore, under that unbuttoned black checkered shirt. The rolled up sleeves, drew my attention as the veins on his arms popped.

I finally looked at him. Messy brown hair falling on his forehead. He raised an eyebrow and looked at me questionably.

Right! The sound!

How dare he looks at me, raising an eyebrow!

"Yes, I was calling you", I said.

"Well?", He asked, with a husky deep voice. So deep, that I could feel a chill running down my spine, and giving me goosebump.

"Huh! Ya! Who plays music or whatever it is at midnight? Do you have any idea, what time it is?"

He looked at me in a way, like he just heard something really amusing.

"Well?", I asked, as he was not saying anything. He just glared at me. This is making me weirdly uncomfortable.

I looked away, and  was about to yell again. But I heard someone.

"What is it? What's that sound?", someone yelled and asked.

I saw a smirk slowly forming on his lips.
