PROLOGUE

"Captain Josh, who are the hostile forces?" I talked at the helicopter

"Probably the Chaos Insurgency. I am one of them before," He answered

"What do you mean?"

"They were Mobile Task Force unit with the codename "Insurgents". They betrayed when we're trying to contain SCP-096 for the first time. Then they renamed themselves to 'Chaos Insurgency'" Josh said

"Operation Whiteface"

13th February 2008

[REDACTED], Greenland

Corporal Josh Barracks(S-9"The Insurgents)

MTF Joint Operation

E-11"Nine-Tailed Fox", A-1"Red-Right-Hand", S-9"The Insurgents"

"I'm still a young Corporal that time, under the command of Captain Alexei, one of many superiors at A-1. After he was selected by the 05 to join S-9, he left his team A-1 to join The Insurgents"

"Remember, our goal is only one : recontain the anomaly and bring it safely back to Area-31" Alexei led the brief

"This is the information Field Researchers made to get"

Alexei then spread the Special Containment Procedures leaflet.

Description: SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the subject's body, with an approximate length of 1.5 meters each. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair.

SCP-096's jaw can open to four (4) times the norm of an average human. Other facial features remain similar to an average human, with the exception of the eyes, which are also devoid of pigmentation. It is not yet known whether SCP-096 is blind or not. It shows no signs of any higher brain functions, and is not considered to be sapient.

SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1).

Documented speeds have varied from thirty-five (35) km/h to ███ km/h, and seems to depend on distance from SCP-096-1. At this point, no known material or method can impede SCP-096's progress. The actual position of SCP-096-1 does not seem to affect SCP-096's response; it seems to have an innate sense of SCP-096-1's location. Note: This reaction does not occur when viewing artistic depictions (see ).

Upon arriving at SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-096-1. 100% of cases have left no traces of SCP-096-1. SCP-096 will then sit down for several minutes before regaining its composure and becoming docile once again. It will then attempt to make its way back to its natural habitat, [DATA REDACTED]

Due to the possibility of a mass chain reaction, including breach of Foundation secrecy and large civilian loss of life, retrieval of subject should be considered Alpha priority.

Dr. ███ has also petitioned for immediate termination of SCP-096 (see Interview 096-1). Order is awaiting approval. Termination order has been approved, and is to be carried out by Dr. ███ on [DATA REDACTED]. See .

"Just follow the leaflet, then we will be fine." Alexei calmed the troops.

"We are getting closer to the position, better start it" the helicopter pilot said.

"Ready your SCRAMBLE, units. We are approaching Subject-096 now"

Everyone used their SCRAMBLE gear.

"We arrived there, the Subject is moving toward us" the pilot said while inspecting his radar

Subject-096 then leaped onto the air, killing the pilot, and dropping the helicopter onto the ground.

I managed to wake up, Alexei grabbed my hand.

"Quick we need to recontain it!" Alexei said.

We reunited with surviving S-9 members.

096 destroyed the other helicopters, dropping them onto the ground.

"Quick! Before it is too late!" Alexei said.

He then grabbed another members.

"No unit designations now, we are working together!" Alexei said.

We rushed toward the Subject that began screaming and crying, dropping the surviving helicopters.

Alexei turned on the radio and communicate with the pilots

"Keep firing! Keep firing!"

Nothing happened, even after thousands of bullets fired.

After all helicopters down, 096 is back on the docile state.

"Listen, I will bag him up" Alexei said.

He moved to 096.

He didn't pull a bag, he pulled a pistol instead.

He then began to shot the MTF personnels, except the Insurgents.

"I'm sure no one wants to join my expedition, except my loyal Insurgents" Alexei pointed his gun.

"Alexei! You are crazy!" I said.

Alexei shot me in the chest.

The bullet vest protected me, but I still drop to the ground.

"Fuck this, Alexei. What is in your mind?"

"Should intermittent vengeance arm again his red right hand to plague us?" Alexei said while pointing his gun.

One of the Insurgents, coded S-9 Beta, kicked Alexei, dropping him rolling down the mountain, and crashed on a tree.

He tried to grab my hand, but the other S-9 members shot him.

Alexei raised from the collapse, and tried to shoot me.

But I grabbed his SCRAMBLE gear, forcing him to look at 096, and then throwing him inside the containment box.

096 then raged violently, and I let it inside the box.

After inside the box, I closed the containment door, then rolling down the mountain, evading others shot.

"Foundation's Rescue Helicopter came to me later that night, but the traces of Insurgents remain unknown till today." Josh said
