Chapter 11

*Sapphire's POV*

I woke up earlier than I normally would the next morning, and got ready for school. I didn't feel like seeing my mom, I haven't spoken to her in about two days, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. I put on my winter jacket and grab my backpack and walked downstairs. As I walked down I heard talking coming from the kitchen. Shit. My moms awake.

"Ok, I'll see you tonight bye," and then she ended the conversation. I wonder who she was talking to. Was it that guy she was hugging?

I really don't want her to see me. As I made my way to the front door. I heard my me being called. Oh fuck.

"Sap," my mom called. It's been a while since I've heard that name. I turn around and face my mom.

"Yes," I said in a low voice, trying to avoid making eye contact with her.

"I'm going to be home late, so I asked Ms. Henry to watch you," she said.

"What? Why?"

Why the fuck would she do that? Ms.Henry is our neighbour, and she's literally like a million years old. I didn't mind her, but I don't need a babysitter, I'm fucking 17 almost 18.

"To make sure you don't leave the house," she said.

I rolled my eyes "whatever," I mutter. I turn on heel, and start walking to school.

"Hey!" Ariana's perky voice spoke. I don't understand how happy she is, it's like Tuesday morning as we're at school. Who would be happy?

"Hey," I said in a low voice.

"How are you?" She asked.

"I'm fine, you?"

"I'm good, I have to tell you something," she said in a serious voice.

"Ok, what?"

She looked around making sure there weren't any people listening.

"Ok, what I'm about to tell you, promise you won't tell anyone," she said

"I promise,"

"Uh, well. Jake took my....virginity," she said, mumbling the last part. I didn't understand what we said.

"He took what?" I said having her a questioned look.

"He took, my virginity." She said.

I raise my eyebrows "Really?"

She nodded.

I smirk "how was it?"

"Amazing," she blushes. "He's really great,"

"Well, I'm happy your with a good person," I said, giving her a smile.

"Thanks, you'll find someone too," she said.

I shrug. "Probably not,"

"Really? What about that Justin guy you're hanging out with," she says, wiggling her eyebrows.

Hearing his name causes butterfly's in my stomach, and I'm pretty sure my cheeks were red.

"Oh my god you're blushing!"

"Shut up, I'm not,"

"Yeah you are, you like him!"

I shake my head. "We're just...."

I didn't know how to end that sentence, like are we friends?

"You're just what?"

"We're just, hanging out,"

"Can you come over?" I ask Ariana.

"I would, but I really need to finish my homework, maybe tomorrow?"

"Ok, that's fine, so I'll see you tomorrow then,"

"Yeah, bye," she said, pulling me into a hug, and walking over to get boyfriends car.

I made my way inside my house, hearing a really old voice.

Ms.Henry.

"I sweetie," she said.

"Hi," I said giving her a fake smile.

"Well, your mom is going to be back late, is there anything you need? Are you hungry?" She said.

I shake my head, "no thank you, I'm going to eat later, I'm just gonna go shower." I said sending her a sweet smile, which was fake. And then walking up the stairs to my room.

"Alright sweetie,"

I made my way to my bathroom, turned the shower on, and began stripping down and getting into the warm shower.

I walked out into my room, with a towel around me, I walk to my closet, and pull over black leggings, and a red hoodie to wear.

After that I go downstairs to the kitchen and see Ms. Henry.

She looked at me and smiled.

"Want me to make you something?"

"No it's ok, I'm not hungry I'm just gonna go to bed,"

"Alright sweetie, I'm going to use the bathroom. If you need anything call me,"

I nodded and made my way to my bedroom.
