At the pizza restaurant, their temporary home, Donnie has been keeping all his chemicals and the retro-mutagen at the back, so that no one could mess with it and it would save him months of work

Mikey, however, was in his lab with Ice Cream wearing goggles. He hums as he mixed various chemicals together in a beaker and looked at the glowing mixture he made

"Hmm, I do believe this plutonium should react flawlessly with the sodium bicarbonates. What do you think, Professor Ice Cream Kitty?" Mikey asked his mutant cat pet as she meowed in response

"Then perhaps we should add this hyperbole solution to Donnie's retro-mutagen"

Just then, Donnie walked into the room as he rubbed his eyes and stopped midway, he saw what Mikey was doing and his eyes widened

"Mikey. HAVE YOU LOST YOUR SHELL?!" Donnie screamed angrily

"Pishposh and tut-tut, my good man!" Mikey shushed him as Donnie snapped

"I've been brewing that retro-mutagen for months! Oh, if you've ruined it, I'll swear I'll-"

"Hold on, dude. I got this" Mikey said as he was about to pour the plutonium into the beaker, Donnie tried to stop him, but one droplet of the plutonium fell into the beaker of retro-mutagen as they froze

"Phew!"

All of a sudden, steam came from the mixture, it started glowing and shaking violently

"Oh, no. Mikey!" Donnie yelled as a blast sends them and Ice Cream Kitty into the wall and watched the beaker continue to shake like crazy

"It's gonna explode!" Donnie screamed as he and Mikey clung onto each other, waiting for the explosion to come, but it didn't. Instead, it stopped glowing like they didn't just crash into the wall a few seconds ago

"Aw, well. That was weak" Mikey pouted, Donnie just growled and tackled his younger brother

"Now, you listen to me!" Donnie shouted as Mikey snapped back

"No, you listen to me!"

They continued to fight, not knowing Splinter has been watching them from the doorway

"I'm gonna teach you such a lesson!" Donnie yelled

But before he could do anything else, Splinter hits them both into their pressure points, making them stop fighting and not move one muscle

"What is going on here?" Splinter demanded

April and Nuwa stood at the doorway and listened to the commotion, April turned and saw that the retro-mutagen was sparkling

"Since when did retro-mutagen start doing that?" April asked as she pointed at the beaker

Donnie was scanning the cells through his microscope, studying the effects with a sample of retro-mutagen and Donnie beamed with impression

"Wow! Its bonding rate is phenomenal. Haha, I can't believe it, this will save me months of lab work! Ok, let me see"

He carefully picked up the slide where the retro-mutagen was on and sucked it up with a dropper

"One small drop. And I'm able to transform an entire vial of mutagen into retro-mutagen. Mikey, you're amazing!" Donnie smiled

"I know" Mikey responded while hitting an action figure with pizza

"Wow, did we step into some kind of alternative dimension here?" Raph asked

"Apparently, cause this is not our usual Mikey" Nuwa shrugged
