The crowd was annoyingly loud. The girls shrieked, the men whistled, the child behind me cried. Why? Chris was playing tonight. He was one of the sexiest and most talented musicians out there. People from all over the world travel across countries just to get a glimpse of him. He isn't what they all assume though. Behind closed doors, Chris is selfish and self-centred. But I won't think about him, not tonight. Tonight, I get lost in the music.
I started moving my body to the rhythm of the music, enjoying myself, freeing myself even if for a night.
Dancing my way, trying my best to avoid drinking, I somehow managed to survive the rest of the night getting lost in my thoughts.
Just as I was getting lost in my thoughts I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see one of my good friends, Jessica. I had known her forever and was more than excited to see her there. She was a bit taller than me, considering she wearing 4-inch heels, a supermodel body, golden-brown hair and flawless skin. We started talking and somewhere in the middle, she asked me if I wanted to come to grab drinks with the rest of the guys with her. I agreed, to note that I had nothing better to do tonight, I might as well go along.
A huge mistake on my part. As soon as we reached the bar to meet the so-called 'other guys', I saw him. I saw the person I tried my best to avoid for the past 6 months. I saw the love of my life. Jaxon.
